Le 13 décembre 2013, Lorenzo Tessari et Attilio Cavezzi ont été nommés Membres d’honneur de la Société Française de
Phlébologie. Tous les deux sont des experts internationaux reconnus par tous pour leurs travaux portant notamment sur
la sclérothérapie à la mousse, travaux qu’ils ont régulièrement partagés avec leurs collègues français lors des séances
de la SFP et par des publications dans la revue Phlébologie Annales Vasculaires.
Nombreux sont ceux parmi nous qui se souviennent de la vidéo mémorable de la première présentation mondiale par
Lorenzo Tessari, lors d’une séance de la SFP, de la fabrication de la mousse avec le robinet à trois voies qui allait devenir
la « méthode Tessari ». Attilio Cavezzi est vice-président de l’UIP.
Tous deux continuent inlassablement leurs travaux pour le développement et la diffusion d’une phlébologie moderne de
qualité et nous font l’amitié de venir fréquemment à Paris pour des moments de partage avec leurs collègues et amis
français de la SFP.
Les recevoir comme Membres d’honneur de notre Société est une juste reconnaissance de toutes ces années de travail
partagé et d’amitié.
