Was passiert momentan im Schienengütermarkt? Welche Prognosen und Erwartungen haben die Betreiber und Logistiker? Welche technischen Herausforderungen
gibt es und welche Lösungsansätze stehen dafür zur Verfügung? Antworten auf diese
Fragen will das von den Medien „Güterbahnen“ und „Rail Business“ in Kooperation
mit dem VDB organisierte Forum am 07. Mai 2015 auf der Messe „transport logistic“
in München versuchen zu geben. Dazu werden in drei Vorträgen die Ergebnisse der
Frühjahrsumfrage des Rail Freight Index (RFX) aktuell präsentiert, eine neue Plattform
für den Kombinierten Verkehr vorgestellt sowie von aktuellen technischen Innovationen für den Schienengüterverkehr berichtet. Anschließend hat das Publikum
Gelegenheit, mit den Referenten zu diskutieren.

What is currently happening in the rail freight market? What are the prognoses and what
are the expectations of the logistics operators? What are the technological challenges and
what may be possible solutions? On the occasion of this year’s “transport logistic” in
Munich on 7th Mai 2015 experts will try to find the answers during a forum which has
been organised by “Güterbahnen” and “Rail Business” in cooperation with the German
Railway Industry Association VDB. There will be three lectures, which will cover these important issues and present the results of the current Rail Freight Index (RFX) spring survey.
The Rail Business Forum introduces a new platform for intermodal transport and reveals
the latest technological innovations for rail freight traffic. After the presentations,
the audience has the opportunity to discuss with the lecturers.
