Marlene Dietrich, Judy Garland, Zarah Leander, Hildegard Knef or her great

Georgette Dee, singer, storyteller and incurable romantic, celebrated
throughout Europe since the 90s takes a clear look in her new show at the
human world, asking whether globalisation is a dance of the veils and
wondering what reveals itself when the last veil falls. She tells fairytalelike stories about her trip on a flying carpet from Tierra del Fuego via
Africa, Europe, Russia and all the way to Asia – along with tales about
peoples’ lives there and what moves them. She fantasises about what the
world would be like if freedom, equality, and compassion for our fellow
humans really ruled the world – would the heavens laugh, would the sun,
the moon and the stars marvel at humanity...?
The ingenious Terry Truck provides musical accompaniment on the piano to
classical and pop songs as well as the occasional NEW Dee/Truck chanson.
