Registrations
All athletes/coaches must be registered using the Wrestling
Canada Summary Form that indicates the athletes name, club,
weight class and birth date. The form must be signed by the
Provincial/Territorial President. Failure to provide this form will
result in the athlete wrestling independent. Please check with
your province/territory to determine if you have additional
registration requirements. Filled in Correctly!

Lutte Canada, sur lequel est indiqué le nom, le club, la catégorie de poids et la
date de naissance de l’athlète. Ce formulaire doit être signé par le président de

Eligibility and Rules
Age Restrictions
Wrestling Canada 2008. Rules will apply. A modified double
elimination bracket draw will be used.
Competitors must be members in good standing with their
Provincial/Territorial Association and Wrestling Canada.
The Men’s Greco roman competition is open to all competitors.
The women’s and men’s freestyle competition is closed and only
Canadian citizens or those individuals with landed immigrant
status in Canada may compete. Legal proof of age must be
provided at time of registration.
Juvenile: 17 or 18 years of age (born in 1990 or 1991).

Summary Form that indicates the coaches’ name, club and
certification number and standard. Coaches must be fully
trained in NCCP Competition Introduction + have the online
‘Making Ethical Decisions’ Evaluation completed in order to
coach in the corner during the event.
Entraîeurs

Medical
A doctor will be on call and athletic therapists will be on site.
Athletes requiring preventative therapy will require their own
supplies.
