The AIM gesture approach (DVD)
Call # 200124 – Teacher
The AIM Gesture Approach Video is particularly useful for teaching the gestures
associated with new vocabulary. In this video, Wendy Maxwell, the originator of the
Gesture Approach, models approximately 400 different gestures, each corresponding to
a different verb, conjunction, preposition, adverb or adjective. This is the vocabulary from
the first unit of Histoires en action! These vocabulary items are the basic constituents of the
language base necessary for what we call 'critical fluency', with which students can carry
on sustained speech in French. This video can be used both by the teacher to practice
these essential expressions, and in the classroom. This is one of our most popular products.
