The body, an obligated pathway
The body, an obligated pathway Sensations, perceptions and representations The living body, the perceiving body or the representing body? And what if soma aesthetic philosophy was composed of these three elements joined together being all one? Unity in itself, that balances my interiorities’ world related to the world around me, allows me to be not only congruent and coherent, but also to feel free to exist from all parts of me gathered together. From separation to unification, the dance pathway and the Feldenkrais method pathway allowed me to unify soul and body to find a specific way corresponding to my essential. My essential point connects my heart to dance and my body to awareness, to be all one in the act of talking. This all one part unified is now becoming a source of apprenticeship and a source of inspiration. They can express themselves with written or with spoken words, inspired from emotions, sensations, perceptions, images, symbols, representations and conceptualizations. What does my body learn to me? What my psychosocial studies learn to my living and sensing body? What is body’s place in the thought? What are the right conditions to find my proper embodied talk? Having different questions I’m looking to tell, from the one who knows inside me and from the description of my interiorities, something much more bigger than me. I’m looking not only to link up to the world and to tell myself, but also to appear in a surprising and original form that will allow to reveal the precise way between what I’m living internally and what is looking to be told from an embodied manner. A body’s knowledge that expresses itself with wisdom to give birth to a new way that will take form with the contact of the world, that means with the contact of nature and with the contact of the people that is around me and that also builds me, the people who touches me and that I can also touch. What is body’s place in our societies? Not the body that expresses itself, but the body that is imprinted, the one that is imprinted of its life. An autoreflexive looking on my living body, on my perceiving body and on my representing body that learn me a lot through my life’s evolution. My interiorities’ account reveals the perceptions and thoughts that are inscribed in the soma aesthetic pathway of my woman’s life that is looking for balance in between performance and consideration of my interiorities for an optimal health: “The emotions’ pathway is there. My life too. In my core I am. » (Extract of my personal diary). Resting on different authors (Appendix 1), I will communicate body’s role importance in apprenticeship and in thought for a better self connection, for a better link to the other, to our own history, to the nature and to the community.
