COURSE DESCRIPTION
This is the second of a two part sequence in Introductory French. Students further develop communicative skills in
speaking, writing, reading and listening comprehension. They also examine selected aspects of the francophone
world. (Not open to native speakers.)
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to
1) comprehend basic oral and written French;
2) speak in French on a variety of topics;
3) use the Present, Immediate Future, Perfect, Imperfect, Future and Conditional tenses to speak and write
French with grammatical accuracy, and
4) identify selected aspects of French and francophone cultures.
