It is an exceptional helicopter in many
regards. The Tiger -- the latest
generation combat-support helicopter
-- is a technological and military
success. It is an ultrasophisticated
aircraft, incredibly easy to handle and
equipped with a fearsome weapon
system, that requires considerable skill
to pilot.
At the Tiger School, which opened its
doors in the Var, in Southen France, in
January 2006, the future pilots of the
European Combat Helicopter undergo
a truly high-tech training.
