ICE HOCKEY and CURLING
Only countries which have properly entered their teams on time by returning the “Final Engagement Form for Team Sports”
and by paying FISU a deposit of EUR 5,000 per registered team, are entitled to enter the selection process.

All forms are available on the OC website www.almaty2017.org “Acrobat reader” format (free download) and on
FISU extranet.
One Final Engagement form per sport and per gender (tournament) must be sent to FISU.
The final engagement deadline for all team sports is 29 June 2016.
The selection of teams will be announced six (6) months prior to opening ceremony (29 July 2016) and the pool
draw will take place in Almaty, in conjunction with the meeting of Heads of Delegation from 15 to 18 September
2016.
International Technical Officials (ITOs)
− For the ice hockey ITOs, the OC is entitled to collect from the participating countries a fixed contribution fee in order
to cover the ITOs’ costs. The fixed contribution fee for ITO’s costs per team participating in ice hockey is EUR 3,000
(Art. 11.10.2). The amount will be deducted from the team deposit during the accreditation process upon arrival to
the Winter Universiade (Art. 11.10.2).
− Ice hockey participating countries may send to FISU at the latest four (4) months before the opening ceremony of
the Winter Universiade (29 September 2016) their proposed ITOs (Art. 11.10.1):
• Ice hockey men: names of 1 referee and 1 linesman
• Ice hockey women: names of 1 referee and 1 linesman
If the names are not received within this deadline, FISU CTI-UH shall have the right to arrange for substitute ITOs.
− The ITOs will be nominated by the FISU CTI-UH and FISU will inform the participating countries about the ITOs
panel three (3) months before the opening ceremony of the Winter Universiade (29 October 2016).
− The invitations for ITOs will be sent by the OC no later than three (3) months before the opening ceremony of the
Winter Universiade (29 October 2016).
Criteria for team selection
The Winter Universiade International Technical Committee will consider the following criteria: the payment date, the
reception date of the form duly completed, participation in previous Winter Universiades, continental representation,
international sport federations ranking – senior level and corresponding age group if appropriate.

3. DEPOSIT PAYMENT MODALITIES (art.5.4.4.)

The EUR 5,000 deposit/team (net value - bank charges paid by your association) has to be paid to the FISU account.

As soon as your Final Engagement Form is received, you will be sent the invoice for the above-mentioned deposit,
which will enable you to make the payment.

Please refer to the instructions indicated on the invoice as regards the payment reference that should be indicated on
the transfer order.

In case you make the payment before receiving the
invoice, please indicate on the transfer order a payment
reference which must comprise the following information:
- the name of the association
- the name of the country
- the sport(s) concerned
- men or women
For our records, please send by e-mail (to [email protected]) a copy of your transfer order.
FISU will send a receipt to your association by e-mail.
4. CREDIT NOTE FOR THE SELECTED TEAMS

Should the team be selected and compete, FISU will transfer your deposit(s) to the Organising Committee, for the
appropriate participation fees of your country.
The Head of Delegation must present the “FISU receipt” to the Organising Committee, upon arrival to the Winter
Universiade Accreditation Centre.
5. CREDIT NOTE FOR NON SELECTED TEAMS

FISU will reimburse the team deposit upon receiving all bank details of the concerned NUSF.
6. WITHDRAWAL OF TEAMS

Should a team withdraw after having been selected, the payment will be kept as a penalty to cover the costs
undertaken by the Organising Committee and FISU. (50% for the Organising Committee and the remaining 50%
becomes property of FISU).
6. TEAMS UNIFORMS
Teams uniforms must be conform to the rules of the International Sport Federation of the concerned sport if not
otherwise stated by FISU regulations and guidelines. The Ice Hockey Uniforms must follows the FISU Ice Hockey
Uniform Guideline here attached.

Un formulaire d’inscription définitive par sport et par gendre (tournoi) doit être envoyé à la FISU.
La date limite d’inscription définitive pour tous les sports d’équipe est le 29 juin 2016.
La sélection des équipes sera annoncée 6 moins avant la cérémonie d’ouverture de l’Universiade d’hiver (29 juillet
2016) et le tirage au sort se fera à Almaty lors de la visite des Chefs de mission du 15 au 18 septembre 2016.
Officiels Techniques Internationaux (ITOs)
• Pour le hockey sur glace, le CO est en droit de percevoir auprès des pays participants une cotisation financière
pour couvrir les frais des ITOs. Le montant de la contribution pour les frais des ITOs par équipe participant au
hockey sur glace est de 3'000 Euros (Art. 11.10.2). Le montant sera déduit de la caution payée par l'équipe au
cours du processus d'accréditation à l'arrivée à l'Universiade d'hiver (Art. 11.10.2).
• Chaque pays participant au hockey sur glace (Art. 11.10.2) peut communiquer à la FISU au plus tard quatre (4)
mois avant la cérémonie d’ouverture de l’Universiade d’hiver (29 septembre 2016), les ITOs qu’ils proposent:
• Hockey sur glace: le nom (s) de un (1) arbitre et un (1) juge de ligne qu’ils proposent
Si les noms n’ont pas été communiqués à cette date, la FISU-CTI-UH aura le droit de nommer des ITOs
suppléants.
• Les ITOs seront nommés par la FISU CTI-UH et la FISU communiquera la liste des ITOs aux pays participants au
plus tard trois (3) mois avant la cérémonie d’ouverture de l’Universiade d’hiver (29 octobre 2016).
• Les ITOs doivent être invités par le CO au plus tard trois (3) mois avant la cérémonie d’ouverture de l’Universiade

Critères de sélection des équipes
La Commission Technique Internationale de l’Universiade d’hiver prendra en compte les critères suivants: la date du
paiement de la caution, la date de réception du formulaire dûment complété, les participations aux Universiades d’hiver
précédentes, la répartition continentale, classement FSI.

MODALITÉS DE PAIEMENT DE LA CAUTION (art.5.4.4.)
La caution de 5 000 EUR/équipe (valeur nette - frais bancaires payés par votre association) doit être payée sur le compte
de la FISU.
Dès réception de votre formulaire d’inscription définitive, nous vous ferons parvenir la facture liée à la caution spécifiée
sur base de laquelle vous pourrez procéder au paiement.
Pour la communication à indiquer lors du paiement sur base de facture, veuillez vous référer aux instructions indiquées
sur la facture.

facture, la communication à mentionner impérativement

Merci de nous envoyer par e-mail ([email protected]) la copie de votre ordre de virement afin de nous aider
à identifier votre paiement.
La FISU vous adressera un reçu par e-mail.
NOTE DE CRÉDIT POUR L’ÉQUIPE SÉLECTIONNÉE
Si votre équipe est sélectionnée et participe effectivement au tournoi, votre caution sera créditée au Comité
d’Organisation pour couvrir les droits de participation.
Le “Reçu FISU” doit être présenté par le Chef de mission au Comité d’Organisation, à l’arrivée au centre
d’accréditation de l’Universiade d’hiver.
5.
NOTE DE CRÉDIT POUR LES ÉQUIPES NON SÉLECTIONNÉES
•
La FISU remboursera votre/vos caution(s) sur demande de votre part à la réception des détails bancaires de la FNSU
concernée.
6.
FORFAIT D’UNE ÉQUIPE
Si une équipe devait se retirer après avoir été sélectionnée, la caution sera conservée pour couvrir les frais entrepris par
le Comité d’organisation et la FISU. (50% iront au Comité d'organisation, les 50% restant acquis à la FISU)
6.
UNIFORMES D’ÉQUIPE
Les uniformes des équipes doivent être conformes aux règles de la Fédération Internationale du Sport concerné sauf si
autrement spécifié dans les règlements et guidances de la FISU. Les uniformes de hockey sur glace doivent respecter la
guidance ci-jointe (FISU Ice Hockey Uniform Guideline).
