Le Lycée Condorcet - the International French School of Sydney, établissement privé, mixte, situé à
Maroubra, accueille les élèves de la maternelle à la terminale et suit le programme scolaire français.
Homologué par le ministère français de l'Education nationale, l'établissement recrute un(e)
assistant(e) maternelle à temps partiel (36 `a 37 heures par semaine sur 38 semaines / 80%) à
compter du 15 août 2016.
La maîtrise de la langue française est une condition préalable pour ce poste.
L'assistant(e) maternelle est en charge d'assister l'enseignant(e) dans la classe, préparer les
différentes activités, ranger et nettoyer la classe à l'issue des activités. Il/elle aura également la
responsabilité d'emmener les enfants aux toilettes, de les surveiller et de les aider à manger au
moment du déjeuner.
Une excellente communication avec de très jeunes enfants et de bonnes relations avec la
communauté scolaire sont deux atouts essentiels pour ce poste. Les élèves de la maternelle étant de
langue maternelle française ou anglaise, il est primordial que l'assistant(e) maternelle soit capable de
s'exprimer couramment dans les deux langues.
La rémunération est établie selon la grille des salaires du Multi-Enterprise Agreement, catégorie
School Assistants Level 1 (salaire annuel brut à temps plein $56,993).

School Assistant for Preparatory School (ref. ASEM-1601)
Lycée Condorcet- the International French School of Sydney is an Independent, co-educational
school in Maroubra which caters for Preschool to Year 12 and follows the French school curriculum.
Approved in accordance with the French Education Ministry, the school is looking for a part-time
school assistant for the Preparatory School (36 to 37 hours per week during 38 weeks / 80%) to
start on 15th August 2016.
The ability to speak French is a pre-requisite for this role.
The School Assistant is in charge of helping the teacher inside the classroom, preparing activities
such as painting as well as cleaning the classroom afterwards. He/she will also be responsible for
taking children to the toilets, supervising them and helping them with their food during lunch time.
The ability to communicate with children of a really young age and good relationships within the
School community are vital for this role. Children in Preparatory School can be native French
speakers or native English speakers; this is why the School assistant must be able to communicate
fluently in both languages.
The salary is based on the rates of pay of the Independent Schools NSW (Support and Operational
Staff) Multi-Enterprise Agreement, School Assistants Level 1 category (yearly full-time gross salary
$56,993).
It is an offence under the NSW Child Protection (Prohibited Employment) Act 1998 for a person
