13th edition of the “Trophée des Volcans”
ASM Omnisports Wrestling organizes the 13th “Trophée des
Volcans” on Saturday 14th November and Sunday 15th from 9
o’clock to 18 at La Maison des Sports, Place des Bughes in
Clemont-Ferrand (France).
The “Trophée des Volcans” will feature women’s wrestling, freestyle wrestling
and Greco-Roman wrestling in youngs and adults categories.
This year, with a very high sportive level, ASM Wrestling aims to receive 1000
wrestlers from France and Europe.
ASM Omnisports Wrestling counts almost 250 licensees and is engaged in a
long path of success: 9 Olympian competitors and hundreds of French
champions.
The club distinguishes itself by its will to form the youngest. It is involved in
underprivileged neighborhoods and in schools.
For Karim Saib, ASM Omnisports Wrestling president and Pascal Thibault,
ASM Omnisports president, wrestling is a combat sport but its values are
mostly respect, friendship and overtaking yourself. Pascal Thibault also recalls
that “this tournament reflects also a certain social mixity, a concept we defend
daily, especially through our implication into these neighborhoods and
schools.”
