Hotel BEL AMI, has long been a reference
in the Parisian quarter of Saint Germain
des Prés, and is now hoisting its new
colours designed by the architect
and designer Philippe Maidenberg, to
give new life to the St Germain area.
The Hotel BEL AMI lies within the conversion of a former 19th century
printing factory, in which the first copy of Guy de Maupassant’s novel
Bel Ami was printed, and is where the lively and trendy will be meeting.
You can indulge in la vie en rose at the BEL AMI CAFE, in a warm and fun
ambiance in which carefully designed lighting, an elegant mix of pastel
colours and a huge central illuminated suspension entice you to enjoy an
organic brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

innovative savoir faire, whose expert, tailor-made care programmes

THE NEW BEDROOMS OF HOTEL BEL AMI

In soft, bright colours and furnished in fine fabrics, Philippe
Maidenberg’s bedrooms are an expression of contemporary
luxury and elegant discretion that reflect the needs of a personal
space into which one can quickly settle.
Hotel Bel Ami literary spirit is emphasised by the combined
desk and bookcase which, with its mirror, becomes a dressing
table when needed. To read and write, and later to dress for the
evening’s activity, is each in turn an element of the spirit of St
Germain des Prés ! Tinted mirror wardrobe doors reflect la vie en
rose within a décor shaded with green and night blue to evoke
the gardens and night sky of Parisian evenings.
Furniture is in natural silver grey and white painted oak to blend
with the velvet of the bedheads. In contrast, a low chair in gold
leather by Mobilier Perrouin adds a warm touch.
The bathrooms are designed as luxurious wooden huts, in natural
wood tones highlighted by mother of pearl.

THE BEDROOMS OF HOTEL BEL AMI

The Rykiel Collection
In homage to the designer Sonia Rykiel, whose
creations reflect the spirit of Saint Germain des
Prés, the bedrooms are both chic and bohemian,
with fabrics that perfectly symbolise her style. The
finely shaded stripes in irregular widths brings the
Rykiel trademark style to these quietly sophisticated
spaces.
The ebony and ivory Collection
Subtly illuminated spaces in which the dominant
tones of ivory and black, highlighted with steel and
painted and reconstituted wood, offer a a niche of
sober yet luxurious comfort.
The Purple Collection
A subtle and harmonious play on lines and materials,
and a blending palette of floral and vegetable
colours, together bring a soft sensation of serenity
to the bedrooms: the very spirit of a Japanese
garden in springtime.
The ochre collection
Tones of sunbaked earth, livened by touches of red
in a play on structured lines, are the essence of the
soft and heavyweight fabrics from Pierre Frey and
the pale wood finishes to transform these bedrooms
into warm and cosy cocoons of luxury.

ORGANIC BRUNCH
Every weekend organic brunch takes place in the sharp and fresh
decoration of the BEL AMI CAFE.
The warm dishes enhance fish, duck, fresh vegetables and organic
potatoes, while the cold dishes present a large range of fresh
seafood products like oysters and wild salmon, salads, cheese
and fine cooked meats. Crêpes, pancakes, waffles and muffins are
home made, like the whole selection of dessert with fresh fruits,
pies and also chocolate and cream. All juices are made on demand
for an optimal supply of vitamins.
The Bel Ami’s organic brunch fits perfectly with the lifestyle in
Saint Germain des Prés, as a healty and complete meal to get
energy for shopping and visiting art galleries on Saturdays or to
recharge one’s batteries before a Sunday walk.

ESTHEDERM WELLNESS ESTABLISHMENT
The first wellness establishment of the INSTITUT ESTHEDERM, is sited
in the Hotel BEL AMI, in the heart of the historic home of the brand: the
sixth arrondissement in Paris.
The opening of Institut ESTHEDERM salon is the first step in a developing
series of facilities at the Hotel BEL AMI that includes the new BEL AMI
CAFE and its organic brunch in April, and the new bedrooms in May.
In addition to the relaxing care treatments designed for spas in general,
Institut ESTHEDERM spa at the Hotel BEL AMI offers face and body care
for both women and men. All the savoir faire of the brand is brought into
play to ensure a unique result, and includes:
• An overall skin analysis, which allows an appropriate care treatment to
be chosen,
• An individually designed care programme that balances the real needs
of the skin with lifestyle,
• A written, personalised prescription to continue the benefits of the care
received in the spa once you have returned home,
• Long-term follow-up according to season, to guarantee results in the
short, medium and long term.
The wellness salon at Hotel BEL AMI, is open from Tuesday to Sunday,
from 1pm to 8pm. A fitness room, sauna and relaxation room are also

floor in pale wood; the chairs are in bilberry, coffee and pistachio shades.

The Salon de Marelle
A cosy, 23 square metre area, with thick carpet, subdued lighting and a
large, round table in light wood surrounded by armchairs. This lounge is
ideal for discussion and serious thought in a small group and is also ideally

The Salon 1885
The ground floor salon 1885 is a warm and discreet area of some 20
square metres next to the Bel Ami Bar, which can be closed off by sliding
doors. It houses a large plasma screen with a range of connectivity and
an independent sound system. It can be connected to the Bel Ami Bar
for private use, giving an overall area of some 62 square metres.
All hotel Bel Ami salons may be provided with restaurant services on
demand, and reservations can be made initially via the hotel’s web
