L’année 2016 a débuté avec le site d’Image Sans Frontière
piraté !
Grâce au travail de notre webmaster Alain Gaymard, il est
de nouveau opérationnel avec une nouvelle maquette,
une présentation moderne et un accès facile afin de
vous permettre de vous connecter à toutes les rubriques
d’ISF et de vous informer de toutes les activités de notre
association.

The year 2016 started out with a problem on Image Sans
Frontière’s site which was hacked into at the end of 2015.
Thanks to the hard work that Alain Gaymard – our
webmaster – put in, our site is now operational again with a
new template, a modern layout and an easier access to all
our sections which will enable you to get posted on all the
activities of Image Sans Frontière.

THE 5TH WORLD CUP
LONG LY HOANG will this year act as general Chairman.
Five countries will participate in the contest i.e. Spain,
France, Italy, Macedonia and Vietnam.

• Italy :
Biennial of ISF’s female photographers.
Free subject : Parc Oltremare at Riccione, Italy, from June
5th to Septembre 30th, 2016.
• La Gacilly, France :
21 prints selected out of over 200 photos by ISF
members. From June 3rd to September 30th 2016.
Subject : Oceans ,water and life.
You have been quite numerous to send brilliant pics – to
be seen also in the Newsletter.
• The silences of mount Ventoux :
6th photo festival at Sault, France. From July 4th to
September 30th 2016.
• The Rambouillet festival will now be held every other year.
The next edition is planned for 2017.
• Mulhouse festival :
with 200 photos on Nature will also be held in 2017 within
the French-Swiss-German triangle.
Image Sans Frontière will be present with a collective
exhibition and 2 guests of honour :

Pour la 13eme édition du
FESTIVAL INTERNATIONAL DE LA GACILLY,
le collectif IMAGE SANS FRONTIÈRE,
association internationale de photographes,
partenaire du Festival de La Gacilly depuis ses
débuts, a fait appel à ses membres, comme
chaque année, afin d’illustrer le thème 2016 :
LES OCÉANS.
Homme libre, toujours tu chériras la mer !
La mer est ton miroir…

C’est dans la mer que l’homme se regarde, qu’il se
retrouve dans cet immense miroir liquide.
De l’Arctique glacée, hostile, aux mers chaudes
chatoyantes et accueillantes, depuis toujours les hommes
tentent d’apprivoiser cet élément source de vie.
Paysages étranges dans un monde ouaté, vie sousmarine dans un décor bleu sombre ou éclatement de
couleurs sur les rivages, l’Océan, c’est la vie...

It is in the sea that Man looks at himself, that he
finds himself in this vast liquid mirror.
From the frozen Arctic, hostile, to the warm
welcoming shimmering seas, from the beginning
men have been trying to tame this element, which
is a source of life.
Strange landscapes in a world which is blanketed,
submarine life in a dark-blue decor, or explosion
of colours on the shores, the Ocean is life...

Résidente de Vercelli, dans la province du Piémont,
je suis diplômée de philosophie de l’Université d’état de
Milan et photographe professionnelle.
I took a degree in philosophy at the State University of
Milan and I am currently a professional photographer.
From childhood, I took an interest in Fine Art Photography.
This year, I became the first Italian woman to receive the
EFIAL/Gold designation.
My work consists in a constant search for beauty and
emotions. My images exalt the “Beauty” in all its forms,
focusing mainly on the human figure.
My photographic work is entitled “Philosophy through
images”because my philosophical studies and Humanities
have always inspired my creative choices.
I like to tell stories through the eyes of others and the
atmosphere of particular locations.
My latest production, entitled “Fairy Tales”, tells stories born
from my imagination. The protagonists are women of great
beauty, dressed in tulle and big hats of various colors, who
become the fairies of magical and moving stories set in
different atmospheres and suggestive places.

Je me suis intéressée au monde de la photo d’art dès
l’enfance et suis, depuis cette année, la première femme
italienne à avoir reçu la désignation EFIAP/Gold.
La recherche de la beauté et des émotions domine mon
travail. Mes images exaltent la "Beauté" sous toutes ses
formes tout en privilégiant la figure humaine.
Mon œuvre photographique s’intitule "Philosophie par
l’image" car mes études philosophiques et mes Humanités
ont toujours inspiré mes choix créatifs.

J’aime raconter des histoires à travers le regard des autres
et l’atmosphère des lieux.

Ma dernière production s’intitule "Fairy Tales" (Contes de
fées) et raconte des fables nées de mon imagination. Les
protagonistes sont des femmes d’une grande beauté,
vêtues de tulle et de grands chapeaux de diverses
couleurs, qui deviennent les fées d’histoires magiques et
émouvantes se déroulant dans des ambiances différentes
et des lieux suggestifs.

un maximum de 4 photos en Net B et / ou en couleur, qui
reflètent la personnalité de l’auteur.
The theme is free and every entrant can send up to
4 prints in black and white and/or colour, reflecting the
personality of the Author.
Les travaux ne seront pas jugés, mais l’organisation se
réserve le droit de ne présenter que les œuvres de grande
qualité et en tenant compte de l’espace d’exposition
disponible au Parc Oltremare à Riccione, Italie,

FESTIVAL PHOTO DE LA GALERIE COMMERCIALE
ATOUT SUD
La 6ème édition du Festival 2016 a eu lieu du 25 mars au 23 avril. Elle a
accueilli pas moins de 18 expositions de grande tenue, allant du club photo
local aux grands noms de la photographie. Elle donne aussi sa chance à de
jeunes talents photographiques, leur donnant l’opportunité d’exposer leurs
oeuvres et de proposer au public leur regard personnel. La vie locale de
la région nantaise n’est pas oubliée, comme le festival de musique Hellfest
vu par 3 photographes régionaux ou les Géants de Royal de Luxe vus par
les Nantais, exposition collective qui retrace la saga des Géants de 1994 à
aujourd’hui.
Ce temps fort culturel est aussi un grand moment de rencontres et de
découvertes ouvert à tous. Citons les rencontres du samedi avec les
photographes exposants, une animation gratuite de portraits de famille ou
entre amis, des ateliers d’initiation à la photographie et des lectures d’images
pour échanger sur les photos des visiteurs.
Le thème du festival 2017 a déjà été annoncé, il s’agit de :
"Féérique Nature" Préparez vos images !

PHOTO FESTIVAL OF THE ATOUT SUD SHOPPING MALL
The 6th edition of the 2016 festival took place from March 25th to April 23rd. It harboured no less than 18 quality exhibitions ranging
from the local photo club of Vertou to the famous names of the photographic world. It also promotes young photographic talents by
giving them the opportunity to exhibit their work and to show their own personal perceptions. The local life of the Nantes area is not
forgotten either, with the Hellfest music festival as seen by three regional photographers or the « Géants de Royal de Luxe » (gigantic
puppets) seen by the inhabitants of Nantes. It is a collective exhibition narrating the Giants’ saga from 1994 to-date.
This cultural highlight is also a great moment for meeting people and discover new things, which is open to all. Namely, the Saturday
venues with the exhibitors, a free family or friend portrait offer, initiation to photography workshops and photo reading sessions of
visitors’ pictures.

La commune de Sucé sur Erdre, grâce à l’initiative de l’Association
"Animations Sucéennes", accueillera dans le cadre superbe de son port
et dans le parc de la mairie deux séries de photographies exposées au
Festival de la Gacilly (56) et au Festival Atout Sud de Rezé (44) les années
passées.
Notre grande manifestation annuelle du club photos
"LE KIOSQUE À IMAGE"
… S’est déroulée les 14-15 et 16 mai 2016 dans le village de MENIL
(près de Château-Gontier - Mayenne, France).
Les visiteurs pourront voir :
48 grands formats (120 X 80) furent exposés sur les murs et le long du halage.
Des expositions personnelles des photographes du club ont pris place sous des
chapiteaux, dans la salle du Vigneau, le Petit Atelier.

’exposition "Métiers d’ici et d’ailleurs" de 2015, créée dans le cadre du
Festival Photo du Centre ATOUT SUD,

ans le parc de la mairie, la série "La terre qui nourrit les hommes"
exposée à La Gacilly en 2015.
En tout, vous aurez pu admirer près de 300 photos incluant une exposition d’Image
sans Frontière.
Les expositions sont prêtées par ISF. Comme les années passées, les
expositions ne manqueront d’attirer de nombreux visiteurs pendant tout
l’été 2016.
Un week-end de détente, en famille et entre amis, dans un charmant petit village
Mayennais.

"KIOSQUE À IMAGE"
OUTDOORS PHOTO EXHIBITION
at Sucé sur Erdre, (Loire Atlantique France)
… Took place on May 14/15 and 16, 2016 in the village of MENIL
(near Château-Gontier, Mayenne, France)
Forty eight large prints – 120 X 80 – were exhibited on the walls and along the towpath. Personal exhibition of members of the
club will be hung under the marquees, in the Vigneau hall and the Petit Atelier.
All told , 300 brilliant photos will be exhibited including An exhibition of Image Sans Frontiere
Thanks to the initiative of the association "Animations Sucéennes", the
town of Sucé sur Erdre will welcome two series of photographs in the
superb surroundings of the port and in the park of the town hall.
These series were exhibited during the Festival of la Gacilly (56) and the
Festival Atout Sud of Rezé (44) the years before
It was a relaxing week-end with family and friends in a charming little village of Mayenne.
Visitors will be shown :
- "Jobs and trades here and elsewhere", an exhibition created within the
framework of Festival Photo du Centre ATOUT SUD, in 2015,
