Paul Raynaud and lir. b r a n i f f , we heard Dr. Clinchy eloquently describe the dynamic program of World brotherhood. He referred to the 325 .American and 22 European Chapters as " c e l l s of brotherhood" »?hich must be strengthened and enlarged so t h a t they may serve as a "bulwark against the i n f i l t r a t i o n of t o t a l i t a r i a n ideas into our democratic c o u n t r i e s . " 'Aorld brotherhood does i t s work through the Schools, Religious Organizations, Labor and Management Groups, Civic bodies, Press and Radio. The spontaneous response to Dr. Clinchy's remarks was most g r a t i fying. In addition to s e v e r a l advance g i f t s which were announced, we received voluntary c o n t r i b u t i o n s amounting to more than 500,000 francs and ranging from 5,000 t o 100,0J0 francs. We would l i k e t o "count you in" as one of the f i n a n c i a l supporters of t h i s all-important movement. Whether your contribution be large or small, whether i t be personal or from a company, i t will help t h i s fine organization, which we are proud to serve as o f f i c e r s , t o go forward with i t s task of building " c e l l s of brotherhood." We s h a l l be ueppy indeed to hear fronr you. Cordially yo ^.mmanirel c: I n t e r n a t i o n a l Finance Committee aobert ft.
