L’atelier est ouvert à tous. Une traduction est assurée pour les élèves ayant un faible niveau d’anglais.
L’atelier a lieu a La Promenade Conservatory, 1404 3rd Street Promenade, Santa Monica, CA 90401.
L’organisation et les frais du voyage, de transport et d'hébergement sont à la charge du stagiaire.
LE PROGRAMME
Cet atelier est composé de plusieurs master classes données par des intervenants hollywoodiens. Il a pour but d’initier le
stagiaire à des spécificités du travail d’acteur à Hollywood. Le contenu des master classes est inspiré par les techniques et
approches des grands maîtres comme Lee Strasberg (Actors Studio), Stella Adler, Uta Hagen, Harold Clurman, Michael Chekhov,
Constantin Stanislavski, etc. Outre la découverte de nouvelles approches et de spécificités du travail d’acteur aux Etats-Unis, cet
atelier est conçu pour amener le stagiaire à aborder son propre travail d’une façon plus novatrice et professionnelle.
INTERVENANTS
DEVORAH CUTLER - RUBENSTEIN
Devorah Cutler Rubenstein est une ancienne productrice exécutive des grands studios américains. Elle partage son activité entre
Los Angeles et Paris. Elle a produit des films, des pièces et émissions de télévision. Son travail écrit inclut une variété de genres
pour différentes compagnies indépendantes, dont ABC et Columbia Pictures. Elle entretient toujours des liens étroits avec
l’industrie du cinéma en tant que réalisatrice, professeur et conseillère en écriture de scénario par sa compagnie "The Script
Broker". Elle travaille notamment avec des productions comme Dreamworks, SKG, Miramax Films, Columbia–Tri-Star, Twentieth
Century Fox, TNT, USA Films, HBO, etc.
TONI ATTELL
Toni Attell est une actrice qui a été nominée aux Emmy Awards. Elle a de façon variée travaillé à la télévision et dans de
nombreux films. Elle a travaillé internationalement avec des maîtres de la performance tels que Jean-Louis Barrault, Marcel
Marceau & Mamako Yoneyama, Carlo Mazzone pour La Comedi D’el Arte et Bill Ball, David Dukes, Paul Senar, David Alexander,
Nina Foch.
JAMES DISTEFANO

James DiStefano is a respected professional actor and acting teacher with over 20 years of experience in the business. As a
lifetime member and teacher in the prestigious The Actor's Studio, James has studied Meisner Technique with co-artistic director
Mark Rydell (Oscar nominee for best director), Strasberg Method with Martin Landau (Oscar winner for Best Actor), Barbara Bain
(three time Emmy winner), and Susan Peretz, and the Stella Adler Technique with Joanne Linville, all of which he incorporates
into his teaching. He has taught classes and worked as a private coach for the past fifteen years. He has taught both adult and
teen classes at the Lee Strasberg Institute, The New York Film Academy and East L.A. Classic Theatre. James also actively
participates in the Playwrights/Directors Unit under the leadership of the prestigious directors Paul Mazursky (5 Oscar
Nominations) and Mark Rydell. James lives in Los Angeles with his beautiful wife of 19 years and the joy and pride of his life his
little son. Mr. DiStefano also teaches a Film Workshop in Los Angeles where actors of all ages and levels can feel safe to explore
what they need for themselves.
ILIA VOLOK

BRIAN CONNORS

long career as an actor which eventually evolved into writing, directing and producing. After graduating from Rutgers University he
moved into NYC and began working off off Broadway, in major regional Theaters, Television and in numerous TV Commercials.
Brian currently has national commercials running for UPS and a new Ameriprise spot with Tommy Lee Jones. He's been featured
on Law & Order, Law & Order, the Riches, The Handler and Close to Home working in scenes with Eddie Izzard, Minnie Driver,
Sam Waterson, Mariska Hargitay, Chris Noth and Jerry Orbach among others. He is a member of The Actor’s Studio
Playwright/Directors Unit led by Mark Rydell and Martin Landau.
