Me Stéphane Duval est associé et directeur du groupe du droit de l’immigration chez
Robinson Sheppard Shapiro, S.E.N.C.R.L.
Me Duval est né à Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, province de Québec et a obtenu son
Baccalauréat en droit de l’Université de Montréal en 1996. Il est membre du Barreau
du Québec depuis 1997.
Auparavant, Me Duval a été agent d’immigration et des douanes de 1991 à 1996. Il a
débuté sa carrière auprès d'un grand cabinet national, où il a œuvré pendant plus de
quatre (4) années. Par la suite, il a créé son propre cabinet-boutique, Arcand Doyon
Duval, spécialisé en droit de l'immigration. Finalement, en 2002, Arcand Doyon
Duval a fusionné avec Robinson Sheppard Shapiro.
Depuis l'arrivée de Me Duval chez Robinson Sheppard Shapiro, un bureau a été
ouvert à Hong Kong. D'ailleurs, Me Duval voyage fréquemment en Asie, au MoyenOrient et en Europe afin de desservir leur clientèle d'immigration d'affaires.
Tout au long de sa carrière, Me Duval a développé une expertise en droit de
l’immigration, pour tout ce qui touche aux entreprises et gens d’affaires. Son
expertise lui permet d’aider les personnes de toutes nationalités qui désirent
s’installer au Canada. Il plaide fréquemment devant toutes les instances du Québec
dans des dossiers de litiges en droit de l’immigration et en droit administratif.
Me Duval est membre de l’Association du Barreau canadien et, depuis 2008, il siège
au conseil exécutif de la Section droit de l'immigration et de la citoyenneté, division
Québec en tant que responsable de la catégorie des gens d’affaires. Me Duval est
également membre du Barreau du Québec et du Barreau de Montréal. Il est aussi
membre de la Jeune Chambre de Commerce de Montréal et est activement impliqué
auprès d'organismes sans but lucratif.

Robinson Sheppard Shapiro, L.L.P.
Me Duval was born in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Province of Quebec and obtained his
Law degree from the University of Montreal in 1996. He was called to the Quebec
Bar in 1997.
Previously, Me Duval acted as a Canadian Immigration and Customs Officer between
1991 and 1996. He started his career in a national law firm, where he worked for
more than four (4) years. Then, he opened his own boutique-firm, Arcand Doyon
Duval, specialized in Immigration Law. Finally, in 2002, Arcand Doyon Duval merged
with Robinson Sheppard Shapiro.
Since his arrival at Robinson Sheppard Shapiro, an office was opened in Hong Kong.
Me Duval travels frequently to Asia, Middle-East and Europe in order to assist
Business Immigration clients.
Throughout his years of practice, he has developed a sound expertise in Immigration
Law matters, more particularly in the Business Class category. He provides to
business and independent persons a wide range of legal services and advice in
Immigration and cross-border matters. He also regularly appears before the courts
and administrative tribunals of Quebec in cases involving Immigration and
Administrative Law issues.
Me Duval is a member of the Montreal, Quebec and Canadian Bar Associations.
Since 2008, Me Duval is on the Executive Committee of the Canadian Bar
Association, Immigration and Citizenship Section, Quebec Division. He is responsible
for the business immigration category. Me Duval is a member of the Montreal Junior
Chamber of Commerce and is also actively involved in non-profit organizations.
