Hug-snatcheresse arrested in Roeselare
A ‘Hug-snatcheresse’ will pass judgment in accelerate legal
procedure. This was confirmed on Monday by the prosecutor
office of the region West-Flanders, department Kortrijk. The
22-year old woman has been arrested on Friday in Roeselaere.
L.G., a woman who stays in a Gipsy-camp in the Brussels
region, has been out stealing. With the aid of another lady she
put the moves on a 55-years old man. The women asked him
to sign a petition for handicapped persons. One of the two
women gave the man a hug and succeeded in this way in
opening his necklace. The jewel fell into the clothes of the
victim and could not be captured by the thieve.
