Escapade autour de Caderousse, l`île verte

Depart from Porte Léon Roche. Turn right at
the roundabout and continue along the path on the
left towards Route de Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Continue
for 800 m and at the intersection turn right towards
Miémart. Turn left at the intersection and 100 m further
on, after the bridge, turn right and continue towards
Miémart 2 .
Take the second road on the right. Turn right at
the intersection on to the D 237. After 2 km, pass the
Caderousse embankment wall. Take the greenway on
your right (to the left of the Maison des Jeunes). After
700 m, turn left towards Ile des Brotteaux and
continue for 2,5 km. When you reach the Île des
Brotteaux 3 , turn around.
At the crossroads, cross the D 237 and take the
greenway on your left. When you reach the end of the
greenway, take the D238 opposite. After crossing two
bridges (the Aygues and the Rhône), pass in front of the
CNR lock. At the bend in the road, climb up towards the
viewpoint 4 .
Turn around and return to the crossroads with the
D 237. Turn left at this intersection and after 500 m
turn left. Continue along the road. At the crossroads
after the bend in the road, turn left towards Panier.
Continue for 2 km and turn right at the intersection 5 .
Continue as far as the junction. Turn right. At the next
crossroads, continue along the Brou road. Turn left at
the second crossroads and then turn right. Take Avenue
des Anciens Combattants to the right of Saint Martin
Chapel 6 towards the town centre.
This will lead you to the road over the embankment. Enter via Castellan gate. Continue straight ahead
along Rue Dr Guérin. At the intersection with Rue
Saint Michel, turn right and then left on to Rue Hervé
Montjaret. At Saint Michel Church, take Rue des
Courtines on the right. After 100 m you will arrive on
Cours Aristide Briand. Turn left and make your way to
Léon Roche gate 1 .

Randonnée familiale
Départ Porte Léon Roche 1 . Au rond-point
prendre à droite et continuer sur la gauche Route de
Châteauneuf. Continuer tout droit sur 800m puis à
l’intersection continuer sur la droite en direction de
Miémart. A l’intersection prendre à gauche, puis à
100m prendre à droite toujours en direction de Miémart. Prenez la deuxième à droite. Passage sous la
voie ferrée 2 .
Dans le virage, prendre la deuxième à droite. A
l’intersection prendre à droite la D237. Passage
devant la digue de Caderousse dans 2km. Prendre
la Voie Verte à gauche de la Maison des jeunes. A
700m tourner à gauche, direction île des Brotteaux,
continuer sur 2,5km. Arrivée sur l’île des Brotteaux
3 , faire demi-tour.
Au croisement, traverser pour reprendre la Voie
Verte et continuer sur la gauche. Au bout de la Voie
Verte prendre en face la D238. Passer deux ponts,
puis devant l’usine CNR. Arrivée au belvédère 4 .
Faire demi-tour jusqu’au croisement avec la
D237. A l’intersection tourner à gauche. Dans 500m
prendre à droite puis à gauche. Poursuivez sur la
route. Au croisement dans le virage prendre à gauche
direction Panier. Continuer tout droit sur 2km, à
l’intersection prendre à droite 5 . Puis continuer
jusqu’au cédez-le-passage. Prendre à droite. Au
croisement suivant, continuer tout droit sur la route
du Brou. Au deuxième croisement, prendre à gauche
puis à droite. Prendre à droite de l’église Saint Martin 6 l’Avenue des Anciens Combattants direction
centre ville.
Au croisement entrez dans l’enceinte de la digue de
Caderousse par la porte Castelan. Prendre en face
la rue du Docteur Guérin. Au bout de la rue, tourner
à droite Rue Saint-Michel, puis à gauche Rue Hervé
Montijaret. Prendre la petite rue à droite de l’église
Saint-Michel, la Rue des Courtines. Ensuite tourner
à gauche Cours Aristide Briand. Continuer tout droit
jusqu’à la porte Léon Roche 1 .
