Car manufacturing requires a multitude of processes over hundreds of
steps on many machines. Wireless connections reduce the need for PC
based control systems on the factory floor. Wireless connectivity increases
factory worker mobility and efficiency, reduces hardware acquisition and
management costs, facilitates centralized monitoring/tracking, minimizes
production line refitting, and allows the connection of heterogeneous
equipment. In brief, wireless connectivity saves money, reduces waste
and improves factory productivity!
Because cables have to withstand a great deal in tough industrial
environments and can be expensive to install or replace, wireless solutions
are an ideal alternative for remote-controlled dockside cranes.

Rugged vibration-proof & shock-proof IP66 aluminum enclosure
Wide range dual power supply inputs, from +9VDC to +75VDC
Operating environment from -25°C to +70°C
Connection through stuffing box or waterproof M12 connectors
Optional high power radio interface for long range communications
Wireless clients (Ethernet & serial) are installed on the crane and can make
contact with access points up to 1000 meters away to connect with
the dockside control apparatus.

ATEX level EX II (IP66) rugged enclosure
Operating environment from -25°C to +70°C
Optional high power radio interface for long range communications
Facilities in oil & gas, refining, mining, petrochemical and chemical processing
typically have areas which contain explosive or hazardous atmospheres.
The instrumentation and automation systems used in these areas must be
designed to ensure that they work safely at all times.
Using a wireless backbone for multiple building systems can reduce
engineering, construction, and operating cost over the entire life
of the building.

Compact size for easy integration
Ready to use pack for instant Ethernet cable replacement
Web based configuration, SNMP administration
Building operators and maintenance personnel can track building
operations wherever they are. Whether for retrofit or new construction,
wireless connectivity can save wiring and enhance system performance
with several systems connected to the same wireless backbone.
Wireless systems can be used for lighting and HVAC while also monitoring
fire and security, and future changes such as when moving walls and
office cubes are greatly simplified.

Lets Ethernet/IP, Modbus/TCP & serial Modbus go wireless…
ACKSYS wireless solutions offer superior network architecture and installation flexibility, increase
the mobility of devices that need freedom of movement, reduce moving and cabling costs (especially
in hard-to-cable or hazardous areas), and reduce installation time and maintenance costs while
protecting existing investments:
