The Rotary Clubs of Ottawa are thrilled to be hosting the Rotary District 7040 Annual
Conference. 2016 marks the 100th anniversary of Rotary in Ottawa, and we look forward to
welcoming 400 Rotarians from across the district to our city to celebrate with us.
The conference planning committee is eager to highlight the service, projects, and
achievements of all the clubs throughout District 7040, and to showcase all that Ottawa and the
National Capital Region have to offer. You have an exciting opportunity to be a sponsor for this
unique event.
The early days of Rotary were about networking and business development, activities that
developed into the philosophy of “Service Above Self”. This motto is the inspiration for the
District’s theme for this year, as well as the theme of the 2016 conference: Rotary Serving

Les clubs Rotary d’Ottawa son heureux d’organiser la conférence annuelle Rotary District 7040. L’année

2016 sera marquée par le 100 anniversaire du Rotary à Ottawa : nous sommes donc impatients à l’idée
