Marguerite was not married, according to what my grandmother had told me. She did live at Golden Lake Ontario
according to the 1881 Census with Kitei Susanne Constant (age 72). Marguerite also had a son born in Quebec.
His name was John Green born July 21, 1848.

4 According to my research, I show a daughter, Harriet or Henriette born approx. Sept. 1853. She married Joseph
Stevin/Steven or Stephen on January 11, 1876 in the Eganville area. In the 1881 Census for Quebec, District 98,
Sub-district 2, page 5, there is a Margret Constant living with Joseph Stevin and family. I discovered this because
Zita remembered a connection with the Stevin family.
In the previously mentioned article from the Renfrew Mercury describing the death of Jane Constant (Anastasie
TAKAMINOTINOKWE), there is mention of her granddaughter, Harriet Whiteduck, who is described as a
married daughter of Mrs. Constant.
