A traditional Mediterranean house in Sainte Maxime with a double view (sea/mountains) was transformed into a modern
living environment by Décoration Cartier.
The long, glass-panelled corridor combines part of the nighttime quarters with the daytime quarters.
The floor is paved with honed Carrara marble. The foot is a sculpture by Gaetano Pesce (B&B Italy).
The commode was found in an antique shop. Above, several works by Photofactory.
Une habitation méditerranéenne traditionnelle à Sainte Maxime, jouissant d’une double vue (mer/montagne), a été
transformée en un lieu de vie contemporain par Décoration Cartier.
Le long couloir vitré relie l’espace jour à une partie de l’espace nuit.
Le sol est recouvert de marbre adouci de Carrare. Le pied est une sculpture signée Gaetano Pesce (de B&B Italia).
La commode a été dénichée chez un antiquaire. Au-dessus de cette commode, on a placé quelques œuvres provenant de
Photofactory.

Cartier tot een hedendaagse leefomgeving.
De lange beglaasde gang verbindt een deel van de nacht- met de dagvertrekken.
Op de vloer een gezoete Carrara marmer. De voet is een sculptuur van Gaetano Pesce (bij B&B Italia).
De commode werd bij een antiquair gevonden. Daarboven enkele werken van bij Photofactory.

The Wengé parquet floor gives a warm accent to the whole. The plinths are integrated.
The walls are covered by textile hangings; the ceiling surface is interrupted by the use of
quartz structure paint. The floor covering is custom-made from skins.
Le parquet en wengé donne à l’ensemble une touche de chaleur. Les plinthes sont
encastrées. Les murs sont recouverts de tissu mural. L’utilisation de peinture à
structure permet de briser la monotonie de l’étendue du plafond. Le tapis de sol est fait
sur mesure en peaux.
De parketvloer in wengé geeft een warme toets aan het geheel. De plinten zijn
ingewerkt. De wanden zijn met textielbehang afgewerkt, het plafondvlak wordt gebroken
door het gebruik van kwartsstructuurverf. Het vloerkleed is op maat gemaakt uit huiden.

This villa consists of a concatenation of volumes with large glass surfaces, so that great contact is made with the many woods in
the surroundings. The interior, designed by Descamps, links up completely with this in terms of design and material use.
The glass panels in the hall and living room as balustrade provide optimum transparency.
Cette villa rassemble une chaîne de volumes aux surfaces de verre importantes ; ces dernières favorisent le contact avec les bois
environnants. Conçu par Descamps, l’intérieur jouant avec les formes et les matériaux répond parfaitement bien au langage de
cette architecture.
Les panneaux de verre servant de balustrade dans le hall et l’espace vie confèrent à l’ensemble une transparence totale.
Deze villa bestaat uit een aaneenschakeling van volumes met grote glasvlakken, waardoor er een groot contact ontstaat met de
bosrijke omgeving. Het interieur, ontworpen door Descamps, sluit daar qua vormgeving en materialengebruik helemaal bij aan.
De glaspanelen in de hal en de leefruimte als borstwering zorgen voor optimale transparantie.

This kitchen in a modern renovated villa,
designed and implemented by AR+, forms the
link between the dining areas and the sitting
room.
The use of white materials was extended
everywhere. A white kitchen unit in composite
material, white painted fronts in MDF and a
ready-to-lay oak veneer parquet. The lights are
by Oty.
La cuisine de cette maison de maître rénovée
contemporaine, conçue et réalisée par AR+,
forme le lien entre la salle à manger et l’espace
salon.
L’emploi de matériaux blancs se retrouve
partout. Un bloc de cuisine blanc en matériau
composite, de larges plinthes en MDF vernies
blanches et un parquet prêt à poser en placage
de chêne. L’éclairage est de Oty.

herenhuis, ontworpen en uitgevoerd door
AR+, vormt de link tussen de eetplaats en de
zitruimte.
Het witte materialengebruik werd overal
doorgetrokken. Een wit keukenblok in

MDF en eeen legklare eiken fineerparket. De

Pour cette salle de bains d’adolescent, Annick Grimmelprez a choisi un plancher en
chêne peint.
Les portes des armoires sont en pin sablé, elles ont été peintes en blanc.
La tablette du lavabo est en Silestone et les armatures d’éclairage encastrées sont
de Nautic.
In deze tienerbadkamer koos Annick Grimmelprez voor een geverfde eiken
plankenvloer.
Gezandstraalde dennehouten kastdeuren werden wit geverfd.
