expenses outside of the country.

you require medical care while traveling outside
of Canada, your NWT Health Insurance may only
cover a portion of your health care costs.
Services received outside of Canada will be reimbursed
at NWT rates. You are responsible for any additional costs.

• Some credit cards or employee health plans
include travel insurance but it’s often limited.
Find out the details before you travel.
• Get a travel insurance plan that covers you
for the duration of your trip.
• Pack travel insurance EVERY time you travel.
• You can purchase travel insurance through
your travel agent or insurance broker.
