Welcome to Montbonnot St-Martin
Montbonnot is a small town of 5,000 inhabitants which seeks to balance growth while
respecting the environment. Its population growth has been accompanied by a corresponding
growth of community life. There are about 70 associations, humanitarian, cultural and sportive,
in Montbonnot. Their activities are supported by a strong committed volunteer base and the
local town council who works to maintain, diversify and strengthen this resource of the
community.
Association Accueil des Villes de France (AVF) :
Whether you are arriving from abroad or somewhere else in France, AVF Meylan Gresivaudan is
here to welcome and help you integrate into the community. AVF members, who are
knowledgeable with the region and of what it is like to be a newcomer to an area, can assist
you, with information on the region personalized to your needs, in meeting others and in
general, help you quickly become comfortable with your new life. The association has a
number of activities from language conversation groups including French, coffee chats, outings
such as hiking, dinners, visits of local sites and also activities for your children to name just a
few.
