an Tire Centre in O awa! It’s going to be a blast!!
Namur School has become a We School. Are you in‐
terested in joining us to change the world? We are look‐
ing for students who want to take ac on locally and globally to make a differ‐

Also, we are very lucky to have our military personnel from Leitrim Canadi‐
an Forces Base join‐
ing us again this year for our November 11th, Remembrance Day Service. Take a moment to thank them for coming to see us on this very important day!

The students prepared
and wrote their newsletter contributions in
ELA (with Ms. Dardel)
and then translated
their writing in French
with Ms. Fortin’s
guidance.
They have also included a student success
page where they aim
to highlight success in
school subjects or
school life.

Namur School students had their first official fire drill October 22nd 2015. It took 1 minute and 42 seconds for all the stu‐
dents to be lined up outside in the soccer field with their class. The fire fighters went to talk to the kin‐
dergartens and cycle one stu‐
dents about fire preven on and evacua on pro‐

Secondary Stu‐
dents prepared a haunted house for the students, from kindergar‐
ten to the sixth grade. The stu‐
dents will be dressed up in a costume, the teachers will be THE
STINGER
dressed too. There will be Hal‐
