Question 2) What are the usual weather conditions at Club Med Les Deux Alpes?
Answer: Club Med Les Deux Alpes sits within the Isere region of France; the climate is diverse, with
the mountain areas getting colder the higher the altitude. Winters are sunny & cold, providing
excellent skiing conditions due to the good snow cover. Summers are generally warm & sunny &
temperatures peak at 30c.
Question 3) How does the ski tuition work at Club Med Les Deux Alpes?
Answer: Club Med Les Deux Alpes is a charming, elegant ski resort, perfect for family skiing
holidays; the resort also welcomes couples & groups, as well as beginner, leisurely & experienced
skiers. Guests will train in small groups of 12, with beginner, intermediate & advanced ski runs for you
to take full advantage of. Group lessons & lift passes are included in your package, with ski & ski boot
hire available for you to book, as extras, via Travel Club Elite. Ski helmets are also available for you to
rent & are mandatory for all children under the age of 12 years.
Question 4) What non-ski activities are there at Les Deux Alpes?
Answer: There are many wonderful non-ski activities for you to enjoy at Club Med Les Deux Alpes,
such as Snowboarding, the Dance Floor, Squash, Pool, Snowshoe Walks, Ice-rink, Bowling, Sauna,
Sled & Lounge & Evening Activities.
Question 5) Can I learn to both ski & snowboard at Club Med Les Deux Alpes?
Answer: No, you cannot. If you are a skier you can try snowboarding & if you do not like it, you can
go back to the ski groups (size permitting). You are not allowed, however, to learn both sports at the
same time.

Your meals, snacks & drinks: open bar & snacks. Beverages include soft drinks, beers &
wines.
Your sports & activities: Alpine Skiing, Snowboarding, Sled, Dance Floor & Lounge & Evening
Activities.
Your Children’s Clubs: Mini Club Med (4 to 10 years) & Juniors’ Club Med (11 to 17 years).
Flights & transfers are included in your package.
Group ski lessons & Lift passes are all included in your package.
Question 2) What are the optional extras at Club Med Les Deux Alpes?

Answer: Yes, the Snow Guarantee at Club Med Les Deux Alpes states that if fewer than 50% of the
pistes are open during their holiday, you will be able to claim 50% of your holiday cost back.
Question 4) Is there a non-skier reduction at Club Med Les Deux Alpes?
Answer: Not at Club Med Les Deux Alpes. Only certain resorts have this option available – Club
Med Chamonix, Club Med Meribel, Club Med Pragelato Vialattea, Club Med Villars & Club Med
Wengen.

Accommodation, Facilities & Services
Question 1) Is there a 5 Trident Luxury Space at Club Med Les Deux Alpes?
Answer: No, the 5 Trident Luxury Space is not available at Club Med Les Deux Alpes. Instead,
guests have the choice of a Club Room or a Deluxe Room.
Question 2) Does Club Med Les Deux Alpes accommodate special dietary needs?
Answer: Yes, at Club Med Les Deux Alpes there is a wide selection of delicious foods for guests to
sample, in the main restaurants. Whilst there is no guarantee that food preparation will be free from
certain allergens, such as nuts, the resort will try to cater for most allergies & food intolerances. We
advise guests to visit the restaurant manager, on arrival & he will guide you around with a chef &
explain the various food stations.
Question 3) Are the swimming pools at Club Med Les Deux Alpes heated?
Answer: There isn’t a swimming pool at Club Med Les Deux Alpes; however, there is a wide range of
enthralling activities for you to partake in.
Question 4) Is the Wi-Fi free at Club Med Les Deux Alpes?
Answer: At present there is free Wi-Fi in some public areas at Les Deux Alpes, with a paid facility (20
Euros, 3 devices, per week) for Club Room connectivity. Upgrades are in progress.
Question 5) How do I get to the resort & what is the transfer time to Club Med Les Deux Alpes?
Answer: If you choose to organise your own flights, or other travel arrangements, to Club Med Les
Deux Alpes, Club Med will pick you up on arrival at the airport, or train station, & return, at a
supplement. Please ask us for more details.
Transfer times to Club Med Les Deux Alpes vary, depending on arrival point. The transfer time from
Geneva airport is 2 hours & 30 minutes. With independent travel, the check-in time is from 15:00hrs &
check-out is by 10:00hrs.

Children & Families at Club Med Les Deux Alpes
Question 1) Can the children eat with us at Club Med Les Deux Alpes?
Answer: Yes, they certainly can. Your children can either eat their meals with their G.O (Gentil
Organisateur) or with you, as you prefer.
Question 2) If I have two children of different ages & both are beginners, can they ski in the
same group at Club Med Les Deux Alpes?
Answer: Generally, G.O’s at the resort will allocate the children to the Mini Club to 4-6 years, 6-8
years & 8-10 years; although, Club Med Les Deux Alpes may make an exception depending on how
many children have signed up to the clubs that week. However, until they sign up, the resort will not
be able to confirm this.
Question 3) If my child doesn’t like skiing, can they change activities at Club Med Les Deux
Alpes?
Answer: Yes, they are. Mini Club/Juniors Club runs throughout the day, so the children will have
plenty of other activities to pick choose from, in the company of a dedicated G.O.
Question 4) Can I pick my children up to ski with them for some of the time at Club Med Les
Deux Alpes?
Answer: Yes, you are very welcome to do so; although, you will need to sign them out of the kids
clubs for that day, but you can sign them back in, at any time.
Question 5) Are there family rooms available at Club Med Les Deux Alpes?
Answer: There are no family rooms available at Club Med Les Deux Alpes, but there are
interconnecting rooms available. Please call or email for more details.
