A LEADING EVENT ON THE PARISIAN SOCIAL CALENDAR
The XIII th BAL DE PARIS takes place on Saturday 4th December 2010 in Paris. It gathers
about 400 personalities from the business world, politics, arts, medias, sport, for a weekend of encounters and pleasure. It became, year after year, a rendez-vous on the Parisian
social calendar and international habits, through its fame in many countries and its roots in
the French Art de Vivre, with participants of some thirty countries from Western Europe,
USA and Canada, Latin America, Russia or Japan. This event is traditionally covered by
the international and national press and televisions. The participants to the Bal de Paris
are now along with the years a very active international community that has great pleasure
and interest to meet and reconnect every year.
ORGANIZED and CREATED by Michel Soyer, Her Highness Duchess Rixa von Oldenburg
(a descendant of Queen Victoria of England, of the Tsars Romanoff a,d cousins of all
European Dynastic Families), Gaëlle de Saint-Seine, a Young Committee chaired by JeanSébastien Robine (editor of People & Gotha Magazine, President of the Young Committee
of the Bourbon House Institute) and an International Committee, the XII th BAL DE PARIS
confirms its tradition of fellow-prestigious Grand Events as the Bal de la Riviera, the Bal
Blanc, the Bal de Chantilly, and many other parties in the universes of polo, contemporary
art, fashion, organized by the same team of « Metteurs en Fête », and attracting the
brillant youth from Paris, London, Saint-Tropez, Megève, Monaco, Courchevel, Marbella,
Chantilly, Geneva and Gstaad.
Le Bal de Paris has LICENCING ranges of products under his brand, as the Parfume Bal
de Paris (production Jean-Louis Roché), the Jewels Bal de Paris (production Elke
Fechner-Berr), the Jewel “La Parisienne” (production Dimitri Nester), the Polos Bal de
Paris (production Lords & Ladies First) the Champagne (production Helmut Lidinger) and
some other projects in development such as music.
Le Bal de Paris is traditionally associated to MEDIAS, as well as French or international
COMPANIES. It manages a listing of 60.000 clients in Europe, and an 12.000 Email
addresses listing.

THE COUNTRY IN HONOUR OF THE YEAR RUSSIA
The Country will be honoured in the following means :
1- Presence of Official Representants : Ambassadors, bi-lateral Chambers of
Commerce, Ministers and Official Personalities, business delegation.
2- Invitation of first row personalities : sportmen, artists, entrepreneurs
3- Traditional cultural animations, songs, costumed dances.
4- Visit and reception at the Embassy in Paris.
5- Organization on Saturday 4th December 2010, of a Bi-lateral Economical Forum,
reception of business people and their French counterparts in development fields
such as luxury, public constructions, telephony, bank, finance, real estate, energy,
education, sport.
6- Information and motivation of the French and Country’s press by the distribution of
a press-kit, and a press meeting on December the 4 th.
7- Proposition to our European clients of a touristic stays (3-7 days of holidays) in the
springs 2010 in the Country.

CINEMA AWARD OF THE BAL DE PARIS
1- The Bal de Paris supports the political and export policy of the City of Paris,
of which it been bearing the name for 13 years. Cinema is all at a time an
industry, a cultural good and a stunning showcase for the prestigious site of
Paris. The connection between the 7th Art, the social power of the fame of
artists, will enable the Bal de Paris to contribute highly to the cultural
expansion of its City.
2- The Bal de Paris Award intends to annually, in the field of long length, feature
films, celebrate three movies that has at best promoted within the year that
comes to its end, the architectural and cultural patrimony of the City of Paris.
3- The Jury of the Award is chaired by famous actress Carole Bouquet, include
actor Francis Huster, film directors Elie Chouraqui, Ariel Zeitoun, Radu
Mihileanu, Louis-Pascal Couvelaire, actor Gilles Lemaire and Xavier Gallais,
Author and Theatre-owner Louis-Michel Colla, only
professionals.

4- The Award Ceremony happens during the Gala evening of the Bal de Paris.
Three films are nominated, one is the winner, the film clips are projected.
This ceremony is highly mediating. A Honour Award is given to the Country’s
Film Winner, in partnership with Titra-Film Company. The projection of it is on
Sunday 6 th December at the Cinema of the Espace Pierre Cardin.
5- Last Year Palmares is “2 Days in Paris” of and with Julie Pietri, the “Bal de
Paris” Award to “A Man and His Dog” of Francis Huster, with Jean-Paul
Belmondo, and “Strizh”, a Kazakh film of Abaï Koulbaï.

PARIS FASHION ACADEMY AWARD OF THE BAL DE PARIS
1. - The Bal de Paris represents young international fashion designers.
2.- The Award Ceremony happens during the Gala evening of the Bal de Paris.
Leading by Eleonora Genive de Gray and directed by one of the famous
French fashion designers. This ceremony is highly mediating.
