Domaines JF Coche-Dury, Leflaive, Raveneau, Roulot and Dauvissat are just some of the outstanding White Burgundies while the stellar Red Burgundy includes DRC and Domaines Roumier, Rousseau, Leroy, Mugnier, and Comte Georges de Vogüé. Highlights from Bordeaux include cases of Château Pétrus from 1989 and 1990, cases of Lafite Rothschild 1990 in double magnum, and 5 cases of Château Haut Brion 1990 in formats ranging from bottle to double magnum. Duncan Sterling, Head of Sotheby’s New York Wine Auctions, commented: “This exclusive selection of Burgundy comes from one of the greatest collections of Red and White Burgundy in the United States. The collector is constantly searching for allocations of the rarest wines in order to stock up on favorites, as well as to try new producers, a careful pruning is sometimes necessary, which is great news for Burgundy lovers who now have a special opportunity to acquire these rare wines from many top vintages. Not to be overlooked is stellar Bordeaux including cases of Château Pétrus from the superb 1989 and 1990 vintages.
