My motivation to be a member of Council / Ma raison • To complete/implement ongoing projects at

The ACTI −a small association within a great
continent crossed by two languages Spanish
and Portuguese− wants to bring the voice of
small associations to the FIT Council.
As a FIT-Latam member Cuba is committed to
strengthen the profession within the region,
to work with local and regional FIT members
and Regional Centres and promote and
consolidate FIT's role in the continent.
During the previous period, Ms. Marchetti
played a key role as President of FIT-Latam
and Vice-President of the FIT Council

ACTI will provide support for the organization
of meetings and conferences and also with
personal to assist her in FIT’s activities.
When ACTI decided to appoint Ms. Marchetti
honorary member of our association, we
considered her vision towards Latin America
integration and her determination –together
with other colleagues− to strive for our
association status as FIT member. Since she
was appointed ACTI member, she
participated in most of the events of our
association, bringing FIT words and work, and
also her wide institutional and professional
