Construit par les architectes d'Atelier Cos, Cheval Blanc Courchevel a ouvert ses portes en 2006. Cinq ans plus tard, le
groupe LVMH fait de nouveau appel à Didier Beautemps pour un projet d’agrandissement mené en deux temps. La
première tranche de travaux comprend l’agrandissement du spa et la création d'un restaurant gastronomique, "Le 1947",
en rez-de-pistes. La seconde phase porte sur l'extension des façades nord et ouest, afin de créer deux nouvelles suites
en duplex sur la façade nord, et d'agrandir les chambres existantes sur la façade ouest.
Designed by the architects from Atelier Cos, Cheval Blanc Courchevel opened its doors in 2006. Five years later, an
extension project conducted in two phases marked a new collaboration between the LVMH Group and Didier Beautemps.
The first part included the spa extension and the creation of the 1947 fine-dining restaurant in its slope-side location. The
second phase focused on several extensions on the North and West façades in order to house two new duplex suites on
the north side, and expand the existing rooms on the west front.
