ELECTIONS EUROPÉENNES
DU 22 AU 25 MAI 2014
RITTERHUDE, SZTUM, VAL-DE-REUIL, WORKINGTON :
QUATRE MAIRES EUROPEENS POUR UNE EUROPE DE PROXIMITE,
D’AMITIE ET DE TERRAIN
A mille lieues de la méfiance qui s’est instaurée entre nos administrés et nos institutions européennes,
leur politique, leur fonctionnement, cent preuves d’amour pour l’Europe sont données chaque jour dans
nos communes.
Dans nos écoles, nos enfants échangent par visioconférences. Ils ont des correspondants, visitent ensemble
nos régions, apprennent ensemble la langue de l’autre, plus tard étudient dans nos pays.
Dans nos stades, nos sportifs, nos associations, nos familles participent aux mêmes courses à pied,
courent sur les mêmes pelouses des tournois de foot, montent sur les mêmes podiums.
Dans nos maisons, à nos tables, nos délégations composées d’enfants, de parents et de grands-parents
sont accueillies tous les ans. Des liens personnels forts se créent.
Dans nos casernes, nos jeunes sapeurs-pompiers envisagent des formations et des stages en commun.
Dans nos théâtres, les mêmes pièces, les mêmes spectacles, les mêmes morceaux sont joués.
Dans nos mairies, nous réfléchissons à des mobilités entre agents pour partager nos idées et nos pratiques.
Autour de nos Monuments, pour nos fêtes nationales, pour nos cérémonies patriotiques, pour nos
commémorations, nous sommes réunis et rassemblés. Nos collégiens, nos lycéens, nos étudiants récitent
nos poèmes et entonnent nos hymnes.
Notre Europe est celle de la paix, de l’union, de l’euro, des droits fondamentaux, mais elle est davantage.
Notre Europe est celle de l’amitié, de la proximité, du terrain.
Le jeudi 22 mai au Royaume-Uni, le dimanche 25 mai en Allemagne, en France et en Pologne, il faut
participer, choisir et élire nos députés européens.
Pour qu’elle nous ressemble et qu’elle vous ressemble, pour que c’est cette Europe-là que nous aimons,
que nous vivons, que nous construisons, ne soit ni silencieuse, ni oubliée, VOTONS.

MAYORS FOR A GRASSROOTS EUROPE OF CLOSENESS AND FRIENDSHIP
Far from the distrust that has been created between our constituents and our European institutions, their
policy and their functioning, a hundred demonstrations of love for Europe are provided each day in our
towns.
In our schools, our children exchange by video conference. They have correspondents, visit our regions
together, learn together each other’s language, and later study in our countries.
In our stadiums, our sportsmen and women, our associations, and our families run in the same races, run
on the same football tournament pitches, mount the same podiums.
In our houses, at our tables, our delegations made up of children, parents and grandparents are hosted
every year. Strong personal ties are created.
In our fire stations, our young firemen envisage joint training and courses.
In our theatres, the same plays, the same shows, the same pieces are performed.
In our town halls, we are considering exchanges of agents in order to share our ideas and our practices.
Around our Monuments, for our national days, for our patriotic ceremonies, for our commemorations,
we gather together. Our schoolchildren and our students recite our poems and launch into our national
anthems.
Ours is the Europe of peace, of union, of the euro, of fundamental rights; but it is more than that. Ours is
the grassroots Europe of friendship and closeness.
On Thursday, 22 May in the United Kingdom, and on Sunday, 25 May in Germany, France and Poland,
we must turn out, choose and elect our European members of parliament.
So that it resembles us and that it resembles you, so that the Europe that we love, in which we live and
that we are building, is neither silent, nor forgotten, VOTE.

vom 22. Mai bis zum 25. Mai
RITTERHUDE, SZTUM, VAL-DE-REUIL, WORKINGTON : VIER EUROPÄISCHE BÜRGERMEISTER FÜR EIN EUROPA DER NÄHE, DER FREUNDSCHAFT UND DER PRAKTISCHEN ERFAHRUNGEN.
Trotz eines gewissen Misstrauens von uns EU-Bürgern zu unseren europäischen Institutionen, deren
Politik und deren Funktionieren, wird täglich in unseren Gemeinden unzählig oft die Liebe zu Europa
bewiesen.
In unseren Schulen tauschen sich unsere Kinder in Videokonferenzen aus. Sie pflegen Brieffreundschaften,
erkunden bei Austauschen und Besuchen zusammen unsere jeweiligen Regionen, lernen miteinander die
Sprache und Kultur des Anderen, studieren später sogar in unseren Ländern.
In unseren Stadien nehmen unsere Sportler, unsere Vereine, unsere Familien an denselben Wettkämpfen teil, bespielen bei Fußballturnieren dieselben Rasenflächen, steigen gemeinsam auf dieselben
Siegerpodeste.
In unseren Häusern, an unseren Tischen werden jedes Jahr Delegationen bestehend aus Kindern, Eltern
und Großeltern empfangen, starke persönliche und freundschaftliche Bande werden geknüpft.
Unsere jungen Feuerwehrleute planen gemeinsame Ausbildungswege und Praktika.
In unseren Theatern werden dieselben Stücke und Schauspiele gespielt.
In unseren Rathäusern denken wir über den Austausch von Angestellten nach, um unsere Ideen und
unsere Erfahrungen zu teilen.
Wir versammeln uns an unseren Nationalfeiern und Gedenkfeiern um unsere Denkmäler und singen
gemeinsam unsere Nationalhymnen sowie die Europahymne.
Unser Europa ist das Europa des Friedens, der Grundrechte, der Union, des Euros. Aber es ist noch mehr:
Unser Europa ist das Europa der gelebten Freundschaft, der Nähe, der gemeinsamen Erfahrungen.
Wir müssen am 22. Mai in Großbritannien und am 25. Mai in Deutschland, Frankreich und Polen an den
Wahlen teilnehmen, uns entscheiden und unsere europäischen Abgeordneten wählen.
Damit wir uns in diesem großen Europa wiederfinden, in dem wir leben und das wir lieben müssen wir
wählen und die Gemeinschaft verantwortungsvoll unterstützen und gestalten.

RITTERHUDE, SZTUM, VAL DE REUIL, WORKINGTON: CZTERY MERY ZA
EUROPĄ BLISKOŚCI, PRZYJAŹNI, TERENU.
Mimo olbrzymiej nieufności, która dziś istnieje między obywatelami i instytucjami europejskimi, ich
polityką, sposobem funkcjonowania, w naszych gminach każdego dnia mamy setki dowodów poparcia
dla idei zjednoczonej Europy.
W szkołach nasze dzieci kontaktują się podczas wideokonferencji. Uczniowie korespondują ze sobą,
odwiedzają, uczą się języków, później często wybierają zagraniczne studia.
Nasi sportowcy, nasze stowarzyszenia, nasze rodziny biorą udział w tych samych zawodach, biegach,
czy turniejach piłki nożnej.
Co roku delegacje z naszych krajów złożone z dzieci, rodziców i dziadków goszczą w domach u rodzin
naszych miast, zasiadają przy wspólnym stole. Tworzą się silne osobiste więzy.
Nasi młodzi strażacy zamierzają podjąć wspólne staże szkoleniowe.
W merostwach przewidujemy wymianę urzędników żeby podzielić się naszymi metodami i pomysłami.
Zbieramy się przy pomnikach z okazji świąt narodowych, na patriotycznych uroczystościach. Nasi
uczniowie, nasi studenci deklamują wiersze, śpiewają hymny.
Nasza Europa jest Europą pokoju, zjednoczenia, poszanowania praw obywateli, ale też czymś więcej.
Nasza Europa jest też Europą współpracy, przyjaźni, bliskości.
We czwartek 22 maja, w Zjednoczonym Królestwie, w niedziele 25 maja, w Niemczech, we Francji i w
Polsce będziemy wybrać naszych europejskich posłów.
Żeby ta Europa, którą budujemy, kochamy, w której żyjemy, nie pozostała ani milcząca, ani zapomniana…
