En effet, les interactions protéine-protéine et ADN-protéine jouent un rôle clé dans l'organisation de s systèmes biologiques. Elles permettent la régulation de certains processus biologiques, la transmission des signaux, ou encore la catalyse de diverses réactions biochimiques. Comprendre et prédire la façon dont les protéines interagissent devraient permettre, à terme, d'interférer avec le processus biologique dans lequel elles sont impliquées. La Résonance Magnétique Nucléaire (RMN) est une méthode de choix pour étudier les interactions entre macromolécules biologiques. La modélisation moléculaire est devenue partie intégrante au registre des techniques d'études structurales, au même titre que la spectroscopie RMN et la diffraction des rayons X. La modélisation moléculaire est un outil d'exploration permettant de rationaliser les résultats et d'obtenir une image virtuelle de la géométrie des composés étudiés. Le professeur recruté devra poursuivre dans cette thématique tout en amenant pour sa part une thématique propre en adéquation avec les thématiques des équipes de l’UMR 8601.
