Overview
Thank you for selecting the Blood Pressure Monitor with Alarm Clock. The monitor features
blood pressure measurement, pulse rate measurement, and record memory. The device is
designed for up to 2 users.
Readings taken by the Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor are equivalent to those obtained by
a trained observer using the cuff and stethoscope auscultation method.
This manual contains important safety and care information, and provides step by step
instructions for using the product. Please read the manual thoroughly before using the
product. Please keep this manual for future reference.
Cautions
• This device is intended only for adult use in homes.
• This device is intended for non-invasive measuring and monitoring of arterial blood
pressure. It is not intended for use on extremities other than arm or for functions other than
obtaining a blood pressure measurement.
• If you experience discomfort during a measurement, such as pain in the arm or other
complaints, press the START/STOP button to release the air immediately from the cuff.
Loosen the cuff and remove it from your arm.
• On the rare occasion of a fault causing the cuff to remain fully inflated during measurement,
open the cuff immediately. Prolonged high pressure (cuff pressure >300mmHg or
constant pressure >15mmHg for more than 3 minutes) applied to the arm may lead to
an ecchymosis.
• Too frequent and consecutive measurements could cause disturbances in blood circulation
and injuries.
• Do not wrap the cuff on the same arm which other monitoring ME EQUIPMENT is
applied simultaneously, because this could cause temporary loss of function of those
simultaneously-used monitoring ME EQUIPMENT.
• Do not kink the connection tube during use, otherwise, the cuff pressure may continuously
increase which can prevent blood flow and result in harmful injury to the patient.
• The equipment is not AP/APG equipment and not suitable for use in the presence of a
flammable anesthetic mixture with air of with oxygen or nitrous oxide.
• This unit is not suitable for continuous monitoring during medical emergencies or
operations.
• This device cannot be used with HF surgical equipment at the same time.
• This device is not intended for patient transports outside a healthcare facility.
• To avoid measurement errors, please avoid the condition of strong electromagnetic field
radiated interference signal or electrical fast transient/burst signal.
• The operator shall not touch output of batteries/adapter and the patient simultaneously.
• Manufacturer will make available on request circuit diagrams, component parts list etc.

• The materials of the cuff have been tested and found to comply with requirements of ISO
10993-5:2009 and ISO 10993-10:2010. It will not cause any potential sensitization or
irritation reaction. Never apply the cuff over hurt skin.
• Do not use the unit in case of existing polyester resp. synthetic allergies.
• Be careful to strangulation due to cables and hoses, particularly due to excessive length.
• Do not connect the air hose to other medical equipment, as this could cause air to be
pumped into intravascular systems or high pressure, what could lead to dangerous injuries.
• Before use, make sure the device functions safely and is in proper working condition.
• Please use the device under the environment which was provided in the user manual.
Otherwise, the performance and lifetime of the device can be impacted and reduced.
• Please use ACCESSORIES and detachable parts specified/authorized by MANUFACTURER.
Otherwise, it may cause damage to the unit or danger to the user/patients.
• Please dispose of ACCESSORIES, detachable parts, and the ME EQUIPMENT according to
the local guidelines.
• Please do not attempt to repair the unit yourself in the event of malfunctions. Only have
repairs carried out by authorized service centers.
• Please report to Manufacturer if any unexpected operation or events occur.
• The device does not need to be calibrated in two years of reliable service.
• Please use the soft cloth to clean the whole unit. Do not use any abrasive or volatile
cleaners.
• The device is not suitable for measuring the blood pressure of children. Ask your doctor
before using it on older children.
• The device is not suitable for use on pregnant women, patients with implanted, electrical
devices, patients with pre-elcampsia, premature ventricular beats, atrial fibrillation,
peripheral, arterial disease and patients undergoing intravascular therapy or arteriovenous
shunt or people who received a mastectomy. Please consult your doctor prior to using the
unit if you suffer from illnesses.
• Do not take any therapeutic measures on the basis of a self measurement. Never alter the
dose of a medicine prescribed by a doctor. Consult your doctor if you have any question
about your blood pressure.
• Please keep the unit out of reach of infants, children or pets, since inhalation or swallowing
of small parts is dangerous or even fatal.
• The device has been evaluated clinically using manual cuff/stethoscope auscultation as
the reference.
• Blood pressure measurements determined with this device are equivalent to those
obtained by a trained observer using the cuff/stethoscope auscultatory method, within
the limits prescribed by the American National Standard, manual, electronic, or automated
sphygmomanometers.

Monitor Components
Measurement Principle
This product uses the Oscillometric Measuring method to detect blood pressure. Before
every measurement, the unit establishes a “zero pressure” equivalent to the air pressure.
Then it starts inflating the arm cuff. Meanwhile, the unit detects pressure oscillations
generated by beat-to-beat pulsatile, which is used to determine the systolic and diastolic
pressure, and pulse rate.
The device also compares the longest and the shortest time intervals of detected pulse
waves to mean time interval then calculates standard deviation. The device will display a
warning signal with the reading to indicate the detection of irregular heartbeat when the
difference of the time intervals is over 25%.

Battery Installation/AC Adapter
• Slide the battery cover off.
• Insert 4 x AAA batteries (included) with correct polarity.
• Replace the cover.
• This unit has an optional AC Power adapter which is available as an accessory. Please use
only the recommended AC adapter model (not included).
Settings
It is important to set the date and time before using your blood pressure monitor, so that a
time stamp can be assigned to each record that is stored in the memory.
1. While the unit is off, press and hold the SET button for 3 seconds to enter the Settings Mode.
2. Press the MEM button to change the [YEAR].
3. When the correct year is displayed, press the SET button to confirm, and it will divert to
the [DATE] setting.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to set the [MONTH] and [DAY].
5. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to set the [TIME FORMAT], then set the [HOUR] and [MINUTE].
6. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to set the [MEASUREMENT UNIT].
7. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to set the [CLOCK MODE].
8. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to set the [ALARM CLOCK]. If you set the alarm clock on, it will
divert to the alarm clock’s time setting mode. After setting the alarm clock, the LCD will
display “dOnE”, and then turn off.
Operating the Monitor
Select the User
1. When the monitor is off , press and hold the MEM button to enter user setting mode. The
user ID will blink.
2. Then press MEM button again, select the user ID between user 1 and user 2.
3. After selecting the suitable user ID, press SET button to confirm. Then the LCD will turn off.
Tying the Cuff
1. Tie the cuff on your upper arm 2-3 cm from elbow. Position the tube off-center toward the
inner side of your arm, in line with the little finger.
2. The cuff should be snug, but not too tight. You should be able to
insert one finger between the cuff and your arm.
3. Sit comfortably with your arm resting on a flat surface.
4. Correct posture for patients with hypertension:
Bare your arm or wear tights only when starting measurement.
Sit comfortably with legs uncrossed, feet flat on the floor, back
and arm supported.
5. The center of the cuff should be leveled with the right atrium
of the heart.
6. Rest for 5 minutes before measuring. Wait at least 3 minutes between
measurements. This allows your blood circulation to recover.
7. For a meaningful comparison, try to measure under similar
conditions. For example, take daily measurements at
approximately the same time, on the same arm, or as directed
by a physician.

Taking the Measurement
1. When the monitor is off, press the START/STOP button to turn the monitor on, and start
the measurement.
2. The cuff will automatically inflate.
3. After measurement is taken the results will display on the screen.
4. The results will be saved for future memory recall.
5. To power off, press the START/STOP button, otherwise it will automatically turn off within
1 minute. Note: If you want to stop inflation during the measurement, press the START/
STOP button to escape.
Memory Recall
1. When the monitor is off, press the MEM button to show the average value of the latest
three records. Note: If there are less than 3 records, the LCD will display the most recent
record instead.
2. Press the MEM button or SET button to scroll through the past records. Up to 60 records
will be stored under each user ID.
3. The order, date, and time will display alternatively for each reading.
4. If you want to check another user’s records, press the START/STOP button to turn the
monitor off when the blood pressure monitor is in the memory inquiry mode. Press and
hold MEM button to enter into the selecting user ID mode, press MEM again to select the
user ID between user 1 and user 2, press SET button to confirm the user ID, then press
MEM button to check the selected user’s measurement records.
5. To turn the blood pressure monitor off, press the START/STOP button, otherwise it will
turn off within 1 minute if there is no operation.
Note: The most recent record is shown first. Each new measurement is assigned to the first record
(1). All other records are pushed back one digit, and the last record (60) is dropped from the list.
Clearing the Memory
1. To clear the memory, press and hold the MEM button for 3 seconds when the monitor is
in the memory recall mode and the display will show “User ID+ dEL ALL.” If you would
like to delete just the latest record, press the MEM button. The latest record will display.
2. Press SET to confirm deleting and the monitor will display “dEL dOnE” and then turn off.
If you just delete the latest record, it will display “dEL 001” instead.
3. Note: To exit out of delete mode without deleting any records, press START/STOP button
before pressing SET to confirm any delete commands.
4. If there is no record, the display will show ---.
Clock Mode
1. If you set the clock mode on in the setting mode, when you turn off the blood pressure
monitor, the backlight of the LCD will turn off, the LCD will display the current time. If you
set the clock mode off in the setting mode, when you turn off the blood pressure monitor,
it will turn off completely.
2. When the backlight of the LCD is off, press any buttons to light it up. The display will
show the time.
Lock Button
The unnecessary keys’ touch will make the blood pressure monitor turn on and waste
electricity. To avoid this, you can press the LOCK button to lock the keys if necessary.
1. Press and hold the LOCK button until the LCD displays OFF, this indicates that the touch
keys (such as MEM, START/STOP, SET) have been locked.

2. To unlock the keys, press and hold the LOCK button until the LCD displays ON. You can
press any buttons to use the blood pressure monitor.
Alarm Clock
1. If you set the alarm clock, it will sound for 1 minute after the set time has been reached.
During this time, you can press the START/STOP button to turn it off. Or it will turn off
automatically after it has sounded 1 minute.
2. Once you have set the alarm clock, it will sound everyday at the same time. If you want
to set the alarm clock off, or change it, you can enter the setting mode again to set it off
or change it.
Tips for Measuring
To avoid inaccuracies in measurements avoid taking readings under the following circumstances:
• Within 1 hour after dinner or drinking
• Immediately after drinking tea or coffee, or smoking
• Within 20 minutes after taking a bath
• When talking or moving your fingers
• In a very cold environment
• When you want to discharge urine
Care and Cleaning
• Always store in a dry place and avoid direct sunlight.
• Avoid direct contact with water. Do not immerse in water.
• Clean the unit with a dry cloth.
• Avoid intense shaking and collision to the unit.
• Avoid dusty and unstable temperature environment.
• Use a damp cloth to remove dirt.
• Avoid washing the cuff.
Troubleshooting
This section includes a list of error messages and frequently asked questions for problems
you may encounter with your blood pressure monitor. If the product is not operating as you
think it should, check here before arranging for servicing.

About Blood Pressure
What are systolic pressure and diastolic pressure?
When ventricles contract and pump blood out of the heart, the blood
pressure reaches its maximum value in the cycle, which is called
systolic pressure. When the ventricles relax, the blood pressure
reaches its minimum value in the cycle, which is called diastolic

Irregular Heartbeat Detector
This Blood Pressure Monitor is equipped with an intelligent function of Irregular Heartbeat
(IHB) Detector. During each measurement, this equipment records the heartbeat intervals and
works out the standard deviation. If the calculated value is larger than or equal to 15, the IHB
symbol
will display on the screen along with the measuring results.
Note: The appearance of the IHB icon indicates that a pulse irregularity consistent with
an irregular heartbeat was detected during measurement. Usually this is NOT a cause for
concern. However, if the symbol appears often, we recommend you seek medical advice.
Please note that the device does not replace a cardiac examination, but serves to detect pulse
irregularities at an early stage.
Why does my blood pressure fluctuate throughout the day?
1. Individual blood pressure varies often in one day. It is also affected by the way you tie your
cuff and your measurement position. Taking the measurement under the same conditions
each time is recommended to avoid fluctuations.
2. Blood pressure readings will generally vary greater if the person takes medication.
3. Wait at least 3 minutes between measurements to allow blood circulation to recover.
Why is the blood pressure I get from the hospital different from home?
The blood pressure is different even within 24 hours because of the weather, emotion,
exercise, etc. Especially, the “white coat” in the hospital usually makes the results higher
than the readings taken at home.
Will the result be the same when measuring on the right arm?
It is OK for both arms, but there may be some different results for some people. Therefore, it
is recommended that you measure the same arm every time.

EMC Guidance
1. This equipment needs to be installed and put into service in accordance with the
information provided in the user manual;
2. Wireless communications equipment such as wireless home network devices, mobile
phones, cordless telephones and their base stations, walkie-talkies can affect this
equipment and should be kept at least a distance d=3,3m away from the equipment.
3. (Note: As indicated in Table 6 of IEC 60601-1-2:2007 for ME EQUIPMENT, a typical cell
phone with a maximum output power of 2 W yields d=3, 3m at an IMMUNITY LEVEL
of 3V/m)

Installation de piles / Adaptateur CA
• Faites glisser le couvercle des piles
• Insérez quatre (4) piles (fournies) dans la bonne polarité.
• Remettez le couvercle.
• Cet appareil comporte un adaptateur ca optionnel comme accessoire. Veuillez utiliser
uniquement le modèle d’adaptateur ca recommandé (non fourni).
Réglages
Il est important de régler la date et l’heure avant d’utiliser votre tensiomètre de manière qu’une
heure soit attribuée à chaque mesure enregistrée dans la mémoire.
1. Lorsque l’appareil est éteint, appuyez sur le bouton SET tout en le maintenant enfoncé
pendant 3 secondes pour sélectionner le Mode de réglage.
2. Appuyez sur le bouton MEM pour changer l’année [YEAR].
3. Lorsque l’année correcte est affichée, appuyez sur le bouton SET pour le confirmer, l’écran
passera au réglage du format de la date [DATE].
4. Répétez les étapes 2 et 3 pour régler le format de la date [MONTH] et le jour [DAY].
5. Répétez les étapes 2 et 3 pour régler le format de l’heure [TIME FORMAT], puis réglez
l’heure [HOUR] et les minutes [MINUTE].
6. Répétez les étapes 2 et 3 pour régler les unités de mesure [MEASUREMENT UNIT]
7. Répétez les étapes 2 et 3 pour régler le mode de l’horloge [CLOCK MODE].
8. Répétez les étapes 2 et 3 pour régler le mode de l’horloge [ALARM CLOCK]. Si vous
réglez le réveil sur, il se dérouter vers le mode de réglage de l’heure du réveil. Après
réglage de l’horloge d’alarme, il affiche «dOnE», puis éteignez.
Utilisation du tensiomètre

Sélectionner l’utilisateur
1. Lorsque le tensiomètre est éteint, appuyez sur le bouton MEM tout en le maintenant
enfoncé pour entrer au mode de sélection d’utilisateur. L’identifiant de l’utilisateur
clignotera.
2. Appuyez à nouveau sur le bouton MEM, sélectionnez l’identifiant de l’utilisateur entre
utilisateur 1 et utilisateur 2.
3. Après la sélection de l’identifiant adéquat de l’utilisateur, appuyez sur le bouton SET pour
le confirmer. Ensuite l’écran LCD s’éteindra.

Attacher le brassard
1. Attacher le brassard en haut de votre bras 2 - 3 cm du coude. Placez
le tube loin du centre vers l’intérieur de votre bras, aligné avec le
petit doigt.
2. Le brassard doit être bien ajusté, mais pas trop serré. Vous devez
être capable d’insérer un doigt entre le brassard et votre bras.
3. Asseyez-vous confortablement en mettant votre bras sur une surface plate.
4. Corrigez la posture pour les hypertendus :
Découvrez votre bras ou mettez des collants uniquement lorsque
vous commencerez les mesures. Asseyez-vous confortablement
avec les jambes décroisées, les pieds plats sur le plancher, le dos
et le bras soutenus.
5. Le centre du brassard doit être positionné sur l’oreillette droite du cœur.
6. Prenez un repos de 5 minutes avant de prendre les mesures. Patientez au moins trois
(3) minutes avant chaque mesure. Cela permet à votre circulation sanguine de reprendre.
7. Pour avoir une comparaison significative, essayez de prendre des mesures dans des
conditions similaires. Par exemple, prenez des mesures quotidiennes à environ le même
moment, au même bras, ou selon les instructions d’un médecin.
Prise de mesures
1. Lorsque l’appareil est hors tension, appuyez sur le bouton START/STOP pour l’allumer et
commencer les mesures.
2. Le brassard se gonflera automatiquement.
3. Après la prise de mesures, les résultats s’afficheront sur l’écran.
4. Les résultats seront enregistrés dans la mémoire pour consultation ultérieure.
5. Pour mettre l’appareil hors tension, appuyez sur le bouton START/STOP, sinon il s’éteindra
automatiquement dans un délai de une (1) minute. Remarque : Si vous souhaitez arrêter
le gonflement durant la prise de mesures, appuyez sur le bouton START/STOP.
Rappel de mémoire
1. Lorsque l’appareil est hors tension, appuyez sur le bouton MEM pour afficher la valeur
moyenne des trois dernières mesures. Remarque : S’il y a moins de trois enregistrements,
l’écran LCD affichera l’enregistrement le plus récent.
2. Appuyez sur le bouton MEM ou SET pour faire défiler les dernières mesures. Jusqu’à 60
mesures seront enregistrées sous chaque identifiant d’utilisateur.
3. L’ordre, la date et l’heure seront affichés de manière successive pour chaque mesure.
4. Si vous souhaitez vérifier les enregistrements d’un autre utilisateur, appuyez sur le bouton
START/STOP pour éteindre l’appareil lorsque le tensiomètre est en mode de recherche
de mémoire. Appuyez sur le bouton MEM et maintenez-le enfoncé pour entrer au mode

Mode horloge

Cómo Hacer la Medición

Cómo Despejar la Memoria
1. Para borrar la memoria, presione el botón MEM y manténgalo así por 3 segundos cuando

aparezca publicado.
2. Presione el botón SET para confirmar la eliminación y el monitor mostrará “dEL dOnE”;
luego, se apagará. Si sólo elimina el último disco, se mostrará “dEL 001” en su lugar.
3. Nota: Para salir del modo borrar sin eliminar ningún registro, presione el botón START/
STOP antes de presionar el botón SET para confirmar cualquier comando de eliminar.
4. Si no hay registro, en la pantalla aparecerá ---.
Modo Reloj
1. Si usted activó el modo reloj en el modo configuración, cuando usted apague el monitor

Botón de Bloqueo

Reloj Alarma
