Chapter I - Organisation.
Art. 1. Definition of the event.
The event « International GT Open @ Spa » has the status of a national OPEN event.
Part of the meeting are following series and/or cups of the championships : EuroFormula Open, Formula V8 3.5,
International GT Open, Radical European Masters and TCR Benelux.
Art. 2. Organisation.

The meeting is organised by Kronos Events, Rue des Pieds d’Alouettes 37 at 5100 Naninne and is governed by
the international sporting code of the FIA, RACB Sport with the authorisation of the various ASN, the Sporting
and Technical regulations of the series, and present supplementary regulations and its appendices. Modifications
and/or amendments to these supplementary regulations will only be announced by numbered and dated
Appendices (published by the organiser or by the Stewards of the Meeting).
The sporting regulations of the championships can be found on: www.euroformulaopen.net,
www.formulav8.com, www.gtopen.net, www.radicalsportscars.com/racing/ and www.racb.com.
By their inscription, all competitors and drivers commit themselves to respect these texts and consider these
supplementary regulations as an integral part of the specific regulations of their cups, series or championships.
In case of dispute on interpretation of these regulations, only the French text will be considered as legal.

3.7 Entries:
Entries must be sent to the organizer.
Entries for the various series must be sent to the respective promotors.
Monitor screens are available to be rented (50€/piece) at the Paddock Permanence (1st floor, former press room
situated next to the Uniroyal Tower).
3.8 Duration of the various races :
See timing in attachement
This timing is for information purposes only. If necessary, this timing can be modified during the event itself by
the Stewards of the Event, on proposal of the Race Director.
3.9 Sporting Checks :
Place: 1st floor F1 building, Race Control, room 115.
Only written and justified derogations will be accepted. These should be sent by mail to the Race Director
([email protected]).
3.10 Scrutineering :
Place: Pit F1, box 1 : Formula V8 3.5
Pit F1, box 2 : EuroFormula Open and International GT Open
Coca-Cola Tower : TCR Benelux and Radical European Masters
Only written and justified derogations will be accepted. These should be sent by mail to the Race Director
([email protected]).
3.11 Official notice board:
Paddock F1 – 1st floor Pit Building – opposite side of Room 115.
3.12 Fuel :
All races :
Competitors can take fuel from the pumps situated in the paddocks according the
regulations of their series. Transport of fuel must be done accompanied by a person
with a fire extinguisher. The Stewards of the Event may impose a penalty if this rule
is not respected. Participants are allowed to refuel in front of their box. A note from
the fire brigade (SRI) shall be handed over during the sporting checks and must be
followed up very strictly, with possible exclusion of the meeting in case of breach.
3.13 Briefings:
Take a PEN!
All briefings will be held in the conference/briefing room, 1st floor, F1 building, room 132. Timing : see timing in
attachment.
3.14 Parc fermé :
International GT Open, Formula V8 3.5 V8 and EuroFormula Open : in their respective pitboxes.
For all other series : « Paddock Yellow” (entrance to the paddock via the fences of the Coca-Cola Tower).
3.15 Podium ceremonies:
The podium ceremony is mandatory for all drivers finishing in the top three of the general classification and/or
the cups organised by the various promotors of the series.

5.1 « Welcome ».

Friday May 20th from 07h00 till 20h00

5.2 Start of the races.
The starting procedures will be explained during the briefing
5.3 Access to the paddocks.
As from Thursday May 19th at 10u00. The ‘Endurance’ zone is not
accessible before 20h00. No entries authorised prior to 10h00.
Art. 6. Passes – Entry cards.
These documents will be handed to each responsible/coordinator of the series, who will be in charge of delivering
these documents to the drivers and teams in question.
Art. 7. Insurance.
The organiser has signed an insurance in conformity with the instructions of the law. Policy Number :
730.261.439 AXA
Art. 8. Miscellaneous.
8.1
The Clerk of the Course will show information or penalties to the drivers at the wheel in front of Race
Control, F1 pitlane. The exact spot shall be indicated to the drivers during the first laps of the free
practices. The penalties shall be communicated on the monitors on the pages showing the classifications.
8.2
Speed limit in the pit lane is 60kph.
8.3
In all series, the Clerk of the Course of a series and/or the Race Director, in consultation with a member
of the Stewards, has the right to hand a “Drive Through” penalty instead of another penalty, listed or not
in the table of penalties. All other decisions/penalties will be left to the appreciation of the Stewards.
8.4
Right to Protest : the amount of the Right to Protest is fixed by RACB Sport at 500,00 €.
Right to Appeal:
The amount of the National Right of Appeal for national series is (RACB Sport): 2.000,00 €.

The amount of the National Right of Appeal for international series is determined by the ASN that
introduced the series to the FIA.
The amount of the International Right of Appeal (FIA) is: 6.000,00 €.
8.5
No other rewards besides those foreseen by the series shall be presented during the podium ceremony.
8.6
For all races: the formation of the starting grid will be executed under the full responsibility of the
starting grid responsible. Teams and drivers have to be ready, at the exit of their particular paddock, 30
minutes prior to the start of their race.
8.7
Teams must keep their paddock zones clean and must avoid oil stains on the asphalt. The fines payable
to the track are high and without appeal. It is strongly advised to all teams to protect the ground with
tarpaulin.
Above regulations have received the approval of the RACB Sport. Visa RACB Sport : C-S-IGTO-007 (29/04/2016)
The SRI note is of strict application. A fine of 300€ will be applied for
every infraction.

présence obligatoire d’un accompagnant équipé d’un
extincteur (6 kg poudre ou 6 l mousse)

pas d’éléments combustibles à proximité de
l’hydrocarbure transporté (p.ex. pneus)

interdiction de fumer, de produire du feu ; s’éloigner
des objets en ignition, étincelles, soudures…

les récipients vides ou pleins seront toujours fermés
Transportation and transferral of flammable
materials:
 the total quantity transported must not exceed 240l
per unit of transportation
 use securely closed metal containers with a
maximum capacity of 60 litres
 compulsory presence of an assistant equipped with
an extinguisher (6 kg powder or 6 l foam)
 no combustible items within proximity of transported
hydrocarbon (eg. tyres)
 no smoking or naked flames; keep away from
ignited items, sparks, welding, etc.
 containers must be kept closed at all times whether
empty or full
 transportation must be made in a utility vehicle
designed for carrying loads
 correct electrical connection between the metallic
container and earth before filling or emptying; during
such operations the containers must be unloaded
from the vehicle in advance
 it is prohibited to enter the unloading area of a
covered vehicle transporting flammable liquids with
mobile lighting equipment other than that designed
and built to avoid igniting flammable vapours which
may have been released within the interior




le véhicule tracteur doit être à même de tracter et
freiner la charge

les bandages de la remorque seront adaptés au type
de sol rencontré ainsi qu’aux vitesses atteintes par le
véhicule tracteur

le crochet d’attelage et l’attache remorque seront
approuvés CE

Where the transportation is made by towing:
 the towing vehicle must be capable of towing and
braking the load
 the tyres of the trailer must be suited to the type of
ground in question and to the speeds reached by
the towing vehicle
 the towing hook and trailer attachment must be CE
approved
