Ce cartoon met en évidence l’opposition / inversion entre le bien et le mal,
habituellement symbolisé par respectivement le petit cochon et le loup.
Dans le texte du début est écrit : « Then out of the woods came the MEAN, old wolf …. », et à
plusieurs reprises on parle du petit cochon la mère disant au début « GOOD little boy « , qu’à la
fin « junior, you sweet thing » …
Mais dès le début le petit ange devient démon, et plus loin c’est le petit cochon qui devient de +
en + méchant et qui dit en rayon le tableau noir: “I’m a mean little kid … ».
Au début le cartoon se présente comme un joli conte : thème + structure typique
(répétition de 3) …………..

First the little devil delivered a telegram;
then the wolf read it;
next the wolf looked at his burning tail;
then the wolf saw it was on fire;
so the wolf filled a bucket with water;
then he was going to sit down on it;
but the little devil replaced it with one full of gasoline;
then the wolf sat down on that one;
finally there was an explosion.

Mummy: “Junior, you got a whipping happening to you.”
Pig: “Eh, and you got a present coming to you; merry Christmas mummy.”
Mummy: “ Oh Junior, you sweet thing.
A fur coat. Why this coat is just what I need.”
Wolf: “ ……………………………. sister.”
