European Master of Social Work and Social Economics (Sowosec) (Ongoing accreditation) This master is not yet in operation, it is under accreditation. COORDINATORS: Nathalie Martin-Papineau : Direction (IDSS Université de Poitiers) Yves Coutand (IRTS Poitou-Charentes) SECRETARY EDUCATIONAL TARGETS Dealing with social issues has led policymakers and economy players to increasingly include their interventions within a European framework. By being committed to the joint development project of a European Master of Social Work and Social economics (SOWOSEC), with eight other European partners, the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of the University of Poitiers and the Régional Institute of Social Work IRTS Poitou-Charentes aim to provide a qualification for holding positions of project leaders and managers, in organizations, institutions and services operating in the field of health, social work and social economy. The course of this Master is led through a local partnership between the IDSS of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences at the University of Poitiers and the IRTS PoitouCharentes. As part of the European program ERASMUS, one of the objectives of the European Master of Social Work is to offer students some mobility among all partner training centers, taking into account the continuing education, as defined in the Bologna Process . TARGET AUDIENCE Students in social work. Social workers. Students graduated with a Bachelor or equivalent degree and willing to validate a master's degree in social work and social economy.
