from structured, haute couture drapery for this carpet, accentuating the process through the subtle use of
muted shades and the sheen of art silk.
Dans ce tapis, Christophe Blondin Pechabrier a voulu retrouver la tradition du motif
retraité dans une modernité renforcée par les jeux de matières. Suivant l’incidence de
la lumière les lignes graphiques apparaissent où se fondent avec sophistication et
subtilité. La gamme de coloris neutre renforce également la fausse sobriété de ce tapis
d’exception.
In this carpet, Christophe Blondin Pechabrier wanted to rediscover the tradition of reprocessed
patterns in a modern style, reinforced by a play on materials. Following the effect of the
light, graphic lines come through with sophistication and subtlety. The neutral colour scheme
also reinforces the deceptive simplicity of this exceptional carpet.
