france je vois par tes mots que ta mamant est bien ainsi que toi et Paul et Jean ton frère etes tous bien,
je te dirais que moi ainsi je me forte tres bien, et at tante et cousins sont de même et me prient de vous
souhaité e a tous bonne santé . Je te dirais que vers la semaine prochaine Henriètte et moi nous alons alér
Lourdes et mous allons acheter des chauses pour toi et ces quelque autre choses que tu à besoin. et en
même sempt je mennai voir la maison au je suis né . et voir at cousine, Marie et Henry et Emile. Après
je ves rentré a Bordeaux et y restrer plusiers jours avec at grande. Je te dirai ausi que j’ai vu ton cousin le
vétérinaire a Saurnees s’est un grand beau Beau Garson qui a becoup de travail car il a 1500 cheveaux a
entretenir avec des garsons qui son travail, mes il faut qu’il y veille car il y en a qui sont malade et il faut
qu’il y veille et tout les deu dimanche il va voir sa mère et sa grande Mère.
Juliètte veuille donner des bizes a ta Mère pour moi et soit bonne avec ainsi qu’a Jean et à Paul de ma Par
ton Grand Père qui vous aime à tous

Dear Juliette,
I write you these lines to respond to your pretty letter, that I just received, and thank you for writing me
in france I see from your words that your mama is well and also that you and Paul and Jean your brother
are all well, I would tell you as well that I am feeling very well, and that your aunt and cousins are doing
the same and want me to wish you all good health. I would tell you that around last week Henriette and
I we went to Lourdes and we are going to buy shoes for you and some other things that you need. and at
the same time I took her to see the house where I was born. and to see your cousin, Marie and Henry and
Emile. After I am going to return to Bordeaux and stay there several days with your grandmother. I will
also tell you that I saw your cousin the veterinarian at Saurnees, he’s a tall handsome Handsome Boy who
has a lot of work because he has 1500 horses to look after with the boys at his work, but he has to sleep
there because there are some that are sick, and he has to sleep there and both Sundays he is going to see
his mother and his grand Mother.
Juliette please give kisses to your Mother for me and be good with Jean and with Paul as well
your Grand Father who loves you all
