Bi-Density Window concept
The alternating of varying densities of
polyurethane in the Bi-Density Window® (an
exclusive LEMAITRE patent), spreads energy
laterally with each step. Shocks formerly
felt in leg joints or the backbone are now
cushioned at the heel.

Les peausseries
Tous les cuirs utilisés pour fabriquer les chaussures de
sécurité LEMAITRE sont des cuirs de premier choix.
Épaisseurs :
s PARABOLINE (modèles femme) : 1,3 à 1,5 mm
s CITY (modèles homme) : 1,6 à 1,8 mm
s Autres modèles : 2,0 à 2,9 mm
Cuir pleine fleur :
Peau tannée, imputrescible avec des fibres très
serrées. C’est la partie supérieure de la peausserie.
Elle bénéficie de différentes finitions :
s Lisse : résistant aux fluides, à la pénétration
et à l’absorption d’eau.
s Grainé : avec un motif plus ou moins matricé.
s Nubuck : fin ponçage pour un toucher très doux.
Hydrofuge, respirant et résistant à l’abrasion.
sPull-up : finition spécifique pour un aspect
authentique. Hydrofuge et très résistant à
l’abrasion, nécessitant peu d’entretien.
Croûte : c’est la partie inférieure de la peausserie,
obtenue après refente. On distingue la croûte
«velours» et la croûte «pigmentée» d’aspect lisse
ou grainé.
Membrane Sympatex
®
Imperméable, respirante et coupe-vent, la membrane
Sympatex® est parfaite en cas d’efforts intenses, de
travail en milieu humide ou à l’extérieur :
- Elle permet d‘évacuer rapidement et
efficacement la transpiration.
- Compacte, très résistante et sans micropore,
elle garantit une excellente respirabilité.
- Elle minimise l‘échauffement du pied améliorant
ainsi le confort.

Sympatex membrane
Waterproof, breathable and wind-resistant, the
Sympatex® membrane is perfect for high energy
activities, work in wet environments or outdoor
activities.
- The hydrophilic Sympatex® membrane allows
quick and effective evacuation of perspiration,
- Compact, extremely resistant, and with no
micropores, excellent breathability is guaranteed.
- It minimises the accumulation of heat in the foot
thus improving comfort.
Leather
All the leathers used to produce LEMAITRE safety
shoes are of the highest quality.
Thicknesses used:
U PARABOLINE for women: 1.3 to 1.5 mm
UÊCITY for men: 1.6 to 1.8 mm
U Other models: 2.0 to 2.9 mm
Full grain leather:
Tanned hide, rot-proof, tightly packed fibre, top grade
leather. Full grain leather benefitting from various finishes:
sSmooth: Resistant to fluids, and penetration or
absorption of water.
s Printed: with a regular or irregular pattern.
s Nubuck: finely sanded to give a soft feel. Waterrepellent, breathable and abrasion resistant.
s Pull-up: Special finish giving an authentic look.
Water-repellent and extra resistant to abrasion.
Flesh split leather: This is the lower part of the skin,
obtained after splitting; the upper part providing the full
grain leather. This produces either smooth «velours»
split leather or grained «pigmented» split leather.

Doublure Cambrelle
®
La doublure Cambrelle® 100% polyamide apporte
confort et hygiène. Cette matière transfère l’humidité
de la peau vers l’extérieur afin de garder le pied
au sec. Elle est également hautement résistante à
l’abrasion.

Cambrelle® lining offers greater comfort and hygiene.
100% polyamide, this material is breathable,
transferring humidity from the skin to the outside.
It is also highly resistant to abrasion.
Les semelles sont injectées en Elastopan® S Proflite,
polyuréthane spécifiquement développé par Elastogran
(BASF Group) pour LEMAITRE.

Doublure en textile tridimensionnel
En maille de structure alvéolaire, cette doublure est
particulièrement respirante, hygiénique et souple.
Elle garantit une bonne ventilation au pied et un
confort amélioré.
Three-dimensional lining
Three-dimensional micro-porous textile, this is a
particularly flexible and breathable lining. It ensures
good ventilation to the foot and greater comfort.
Double-density polyurethane Elastopan®S
Proflite
The soles are made of Elastopan ® S Prof lite ,
polyurethane specifically developed for LEMAITRE by
Elastogran (BASF Group).
It offers two different and complementary densities:
Sturdiness:
«Rubber Look»; this is a very dense hardwearing coating
offering increased resistance to abrasion, slipping and
hydrolysis for considerably extended sole life.
Comfort:
«Elastoflite»; this is the intermediate, low density comfort
layer. It is used to lighten the weight of the shoe.
Tissu Cordura®
Ce tissu, utilisé pour certaines parties de la tige
ou du col de la chaussure, garantit une résistance
optimale aux déchirements et à la perforation.
Léger, pratique et rapide à sécher, il bénéficie
d’une durée de vie jusqu’à 7 fois supérieure à celle
du nylon, du coton ou du polyester.
Cordura® fabric
This fabric is used for certain parts of the upper or
ankle of the shoe. It guarantees optimal resistance
to tearing, abrasion and perforation.
