Objectifs et méthodes Evaluer la prévalence et l'incidence de l'infection à VIH et des Maladies Sexuellement Transmises
(MST) dans un groupe de femmes vulnérables à Bobo-Dioulasso.
Mettre en place un programme de prise en charge des MST, efficace, durable, adapté aux ressources et
aux structures des institutions sanitaires du Burkina Faso.
Décrire le contexte et les pratiques de la prostitution à Bobo-Dioulasso.
Valider diverses procédures de prévention, diagnostic et traitement des IST.
Mettre un place et évaluer un programme de prise en charge des femmes vulnérables infectées par le
VIH.
La fermeture progressive de cette cohorte est prévue d'ici à 2011 avec un transfert de la prise en charge
des patientes vers les structures de soins du programme national.
