Scott Sherlock’s practice focuses on commercial debt recovery, insolvency and restructuring,
and a broad range of litigation including construction litigation and commercial litigation.
Scott advises clients in two key areas:
Commercial debt recovery: efficient debt recovery for financing companies and
banks.
Construction litigation: prosecution and defence on behalf of construction
companies.
Scott completed a year of engineering studies and two years as an economics major before
transferring into law school, where he completed his Juris Doctorate at the University of
Alberta in 2014. He received of a number of scholarships including the WS Ziegler Dean of
Engineering Entrance Scholarship, the Roland Stansfield Young Memorial Academic
Excellence Scholarship, the Faculty of Engineering Academic Excellence Scholarship, and
the International Baccalaureate Diploma Scholarship. On graduation from the University of
Alberta, Scott completed his year of articles with Miller Thomson LLP.
