Location: discovered in 1576 to Campo del Cielo, Gran Chaco Gualamba, Argentina. Approximately 900 km in the northwest of Buenos Aires. Latitude 27 degrees 39 south minutes, longitude 61 degrees 44 minutes. The first recording of Campo was in 1576. A Spanish governor learnt that Indians’iron would have fallen from the sky. The governor sent an expedition under the command of the captain Miraval who returned some pieces of an enormous iron mass that he has conscript Meson of Fierro. In this region we find many small craters as well as bigger (78 by 65 metres). The scientists tryed to date it with carbon 14 thanks to the carbonized wood found in craters. The results explained that it failed between 4000 and 5800 years. This result is also compatible with the Indian oral tradition "of iron which falls of the sky ". Campo del Cielo contains 6,68 % of nickel, 0,43 % of cobalt, 0,25 % of phosphor, 87 parts(parties) by one million ( ppm ) of galium, 407 ppm of germanium and 3,6 ppm of iridium. The remaining portion is constituted by iron.
