À partir de l’approche dite «process/relational» qu’il
a lui-même développée au cours des dernières décennies, le professeur Cobb abordera la question de
la vertu et du bien commun en situation post-moderne. Puisant dans ses ouvrages sur les sujets de
l’économie, de l’éthique, de la politique et du bien
commun, il posera aussi quelques réflexions sur les
relations canado-américaines.
Une série de conférences de haut niveau, des conférenciers et conférencières de marque, en l’honneur du
professeur Henry Herbert Glasmacher (1846-1897).

John B. Cobb, jr., est professeur émérite à la
Claremont School of Theology et à la Claremont
Graduate University en Californie. Il est l’un des codirecteurs du Center for Process Studies et un des
plus importants théologiens associés à la Process
Theology.
John B. Cobb a publié de nombreux ouvrages dans
des domaines tels que la théologie, la philosophie,
l’éthique, l’économie et la politique. Voici quelques
titres qu’il a publiés: A Christian Natural Theology
(1965); Beyond Dialogue: Toward a Mutual Transformation of Christianity and Buddhism (1982); Sustaining the
Common Good (1994); et The Earthist Challenge to
Economism (1999).

John B. Cobb, Jr., is Emeritus Professor, Claremont
School of Theology and Claremont Graduate
University. He is one of the co-directors of the
Center for Process Studies.
A well-known leading theologian, Dr. Cobb has
