Regulations
V Senior International Tournament
“Cup of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan” (GR/FS/FW)
I. General information
Senior International wrestling tournament “Cup of the President of the
Republic of Kazakhstan” will be organized and held by the Kazakhstan
Wrestling federation, Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan by Sports and
Physical Culture in association with the City Administration of Astana.
II. Date&Venue
The tournament will take place in Sport complex “Daulet”, Kabanbay Batyr
Str. 6/3, Astana (KAZ), 23-26 July 2015.
III. Participation
Delegations received official invitations will be admitted to take part at the
tournament as following: 8 wrestlers (+2 wrestlers), 1 team leader, 1 coach, 1
doctor and 1 referee.
One team per style per country.
IV. Technical conditions
Competition will be held according to the UWW Rules of Wrestling on 2
UWW approved mats. One team per country, one athlete per weight category.
Weight categories:
Greco-roman wrestling: 59, 66, 71, 75, 80, 85, 98, 130 kg.
Freestyle wrestling: 57, 61, 65, 70, 74, 86, 97, 125 kg.
Female wrestling: 48, 53, 55, 58, 60, 63, 69, 75 kg.
Tolerance: 2kg.
Each referee must present his referees license with the UWW stamp for the
year 2015.
Wearing the official UWW uniform for referees is obligatory.
Referees Course Type I will be organized prior to the competition.
Each wrestler has to pass a medical examination in his country three days
prior to departure to the competition in Kazakhstan. The results of examination
should be recorded in the wrestler’s license book.
Each wrestler must undergo a medical examination one (1) hour before
weigh-in according to the schedule of the competition.
Kazakhstan Wrestling Federation and Organizing Committee will provide
first aid assistance when needed during the period of competitions. All participants
of the tournament must be insured from accident, injuries, etc.
V. Financial conditions
Travels expenses to the competition place will be covered by National
Federations of participating teams. According to the Regulations, the organizing
country will bear the expenses for local transportations, accommodation, meals for
the teams and UWW representatives during the period from 23 to 26 July 2015.
Additional persons apart from the delegation listed above as well as the
delegations or persons staying longer than scheduled will be charged 180 CHF per
person per day.
For referees participating in Referees’ Course Type I accomodation fee will
be 180 CHF per person per day.
VI. Awards
The Organizing Committee provides with cash prize fund and special prizes
will be awarded.
1st place team – 15000 USD, cup and medals;
2nd place team – 10000 USD, cup and medals;
3rd place team – 5000 USD, cup and medals;
All delegations participants will receive certificates of participation.
VII. Miscellaneous
Entries should be sent to the Organizing Committee within following
deadlines:
Preliminary entries – until 25 June 2015.
Final entries – until 5 July 2015.
To ensure smooth entry visas process it is required to send to the Organizing
Committee passports copies of all your participants and the visa form duly filled
in.
In order to arrange accreditation cards for your members we also kindly ask
you to send before 25th of June their photos by e-mail or by courier post service
(passport photos 3,5 x 4,5) with the indication of name, country, weight categories.
