Notice to Residents of the Local Service Districts of
ANDOVER AND PERTH
You are Invited to a Public Information Session Regarding the Issue Of Recreation Services in the Local
Service Districts (LSDs) of Andover and Perth (excluding residents of the Villages of Aroostook, PerthAndover, and Tobique First Nations)
The purpose of this session is to hear a presentation from the Village of Perth-Andover for a proposed amendment to the existing
Shared Services Agreement to offer quality recreational programs and facilities. The Village is proposing an increase of your current
annual property tax contribution from $0.0300 per $100 of property tax assessment to $0.0550 per $100 of property tax assessment to
support the operation of the River Valley Civic Centre for a term of 20 years commencing January 1, 2017. A representative of the
Village of Perth-Andover will be in attendance to conduct a presentation and residents will be given the opportunity to ask questions.

The public information session will take place at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 1, 2016 (storm date of November 2),
at The Masonic Lodge 1137 West Riverside Drive Perth-Andover, N.B. This session is to provide information on the
proposal - no vote will take place at this session.

The voting session will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, November 10, (storm date of November 15),
2016 at Masonic Lodge 1137 West Riverside Drive Perth-Andover, N.B.

Vous êtes invités à assister à une séance d’information publique au sujet des services de loisirs dans le
district de services locaux (DSL) d’Andover et Perth
À cette occasion, le Village de Perth-Andover présentera une proposition visant à modifier l’entente existante de partage de services
pour offrir des installations et des programmes récréationnels de qualité. Le Village propose de faire passer la contribution annuelle
provenant de l’impôt foncier de 0,0300 $ par 100 $ d’évaluation à 0,0550 $ par 100 $ d’évaluation pour l’exploitation du River Valley
Civic Centre pendant 20 ans, à compter du 1er janvier 2017. Un représentant du Village de Perth-Andover présentera la proposition et
les résidants pourront poser des questions.

La séance d’information publique aura lieu mardi le 1 novembre 2016 au Centre récréatif (date de tempête le 2
novembre) au Masonic Lodge, 1137, promenade West Riverside à Perth-Andover (Nouveau-Brunswick). Des
renseignements seront fournis sur la proposition, mais aucun vote ne sera tenu lors de la séance.
 Le vote aura lieu le jeudi 10 novembre 2016, de 10 h à 20 h au (date de tempête le 15 novembre) au Masonic Lodge,
1137, promenade West Riverside à Perth-Andover, (Nouveau-Brunswick).
Le tableau suivant indique le montant annuel à payer selon l’évaluation foncière de 2016.
