Fifth Grade-Earth Science
In order to support classroom teachers and add depth to the subject material, I modified the
original stories from “aim language learning” to include vocabulary and concepts learned
throughout units of inquiry. So I am using the aim method with a twist. Here are more details
about how I integrated French in each unit of inquiry.
Unit of Inquiry: Earth Science
Central idea: Natural processes create changes on Earth’s surface.
