Convocation à l’Assemblée Générale Ordinaire
Nous avons le plaisir de vous convier à l’Assemblée Générale Ordinaire de FANS qui aura lieu le
Mardi 20 mai à 19h30 au Forest Art Center, Forestville
(même bâtiment que la bibliothèque)
Notez que seuls les membres à jour de leur cotisation 2014 seront autorisés à voter.

Approbation du procès verbal de l’assemblée Générale Ordinaire du 16 mai 2013

Présentation et approbation du rapport d’activité et du bilan financier au 31 décembre 2013

Projet pour l’année financière 2014

Adoption d’un nouveau texte de constitution par « special resolution »

Election du Comité. Les postes à pourvoir sont les suivants :
o Président(e)
o Vice-président(e)
o Public Officer (représentant de l’association auprès des autorités locales)
o Secrétaire
o Trésorier(ière)
o Membres généraux : minimum 3
Le comité tient à votre disposition une description de chaque poste officiel ou non officiel au comité.

L'association prend de l'ampleur et les projets ne manquent pas, n'hésitez donc pas à rejoindre le comité
dans cette aventure, c'est pour le bien de vos familles! Il n'est pas nécessaire d'avoir un enfant scolarisé
dans le programme bilingue de Killarney pour rejoindre le comité. Le comité se réunit une fois par trimestre
et communique beaucoup électroniquement.
Toute nomination doit être logée par écrit au minimum 3 jours avant la réunion. Les personnes nominées
doivent être membres et leur accord doit être donné par écrit avant que la nomination soit acceptée. Dans le
cas d’une seule nomination par poste, le membre nominé est automatiquement élu. Les nominations
peuvent être adressées par courrier à l’association ou de préférence directement par e-mail à la secrétaire.
Si vous ne pouvez pas assister à l’Assemblée Générale mais désirez cependant voter (à condition d’y être
autorisé), contactez la secrétaire, qui vous fera parvenir les documents nécessaires au vote par procuration.

Notice of Annual General Meeting
It is our pleasure to invite you to FANS’ Annual General Meeting
On Tuesday 20th May 2014 at 19h30
In the Forest Art Center, Forestville (same building as the library)
Note that only current members (up-to-date with their 2014 membership) can vote.

Approval of the minutes of the Annual General Meeting of 16 May 2013
Presentation and approval of the report on the Association’s activities and balance sheet as of 31st
December, 2013
Project for the year 2014
New Constitution for the association which will be adopted via a special resolution
Election of the office-bearers. Positions are :
o President
o Vice-president
o Public Officer (the official contact point for an incorporated association)
o Secretary
o Treasurer
o General committee members : minimum 3

F.A.N.S. is growing and isn’t short of projects, don’t hesitate to join the committee in this adventure; it is for
your family's benefit! You don’t need to be a parent from the school to join the committee. The committee
meets on a term’s basis and communicates electronically.
Nominations must be lodged in writing at least 3 days prior to the meeting. Nominees must be members and
their written consent is necessary before the nomination can be accepted. If only one nomination is received
for a position, the member nominated is taken to be elected. Nominations can be sent by mail to the
association or preferably by e-mail directly to the secretary.
If you are unable to attend but would like (and are entitled) to vote, please contact the secretary, who will
provide the documents necessary for a proxy vote.
