INSTITUT DE SOUDURE Teams worldwide, available to serve industry INSTITUT DE SOUDURE TECHNOLOGICAL TRAINING IN WELDING MANDATORY INSPECTION FOR PRESSURE EQUIPMENTS NON DESTRUCTIVE TESTING ON PIPELINE MECHANICAL TESTING LABORATORY IN YUTZ JOINING LABORATORY IN YUTZ PRACTICAL WELDING TRAINING NEW AND KEY PRODUCTS INSTITUT DE SOUDURE with its 3 laboratories in Yutz, helps companies to innovate: The Joining Laboratory brings together all the means for research and testing in the field of welding: conventional welding machines, equipment for laser, hybrid laser and electron beam welding and for brazing. There is also the Goin centre (Moselle), dedicated entirely to Friction Stir Welding (FSW). The Mechanical Testing and Corrosion Laboratory offers a range of high­performance equipment including test machines of various capacities. We are able to carry out numerical simulation, to evaluate residual stresses and distorsion induced by welding of materials, joints and equipment. The NDT Laboratory brings innovative solutions in non­destructive testing. The Industrial Maintenance unit develops techniques suitable for the supervision of in­service facilities. The Composites division, in partnership with the PPE (Pôle de Plasturgie de l’Est), conducts NDT on complex, large­scale, composite workpieces.
