Display modes
Press A to select one of the display modes of the wrist watch:

Manually initiate radio reception
Radio time signal reception can be started manually.
Press A to select the date display mode.
Press and hold A for 3 seconds. The reception is started and the radio reception control symbol
R will appear blinking on the display. Radio reception takes between 3 and 9 minutes to
complete and can be interrupted by pressing any button.
The radio reception control symbol R will appear continuously on the display while the reception
is successful.

Changing the time zone
Press A to select time zone display mode.
Press and hold B for 3 seconds. Press A to select the correct time zone:
Uk = Greenwich Mean Time (UTC), GE = Central European Time (UTC+1), GR = Eastern
Europe (UTC+2).
Confirm your selection by pressing B. The hands will automatically move to the appropriate
time.
Manual time setting
Press A to select the date display mode. Press and hold B for 3 seconds.
The hours will blink on the display. Set the hours by pressing A and confirm your setting by
pressing B.
The minutes will blink on the display. Set the minutes by pressing A and confirm your setting by
pressing B.
The hands will automatically move to the appropriate time.

Press A to select the day of the week display mode. Press and hold B for three seconds.
The set language will blink on the display. Select your preferred language by pressing A:
En = English, DE = German.
Confirm your selection by pressing B.
Disposal of the electronic appliance

Reset and calibration
Replacing the battery, strong magnetic fields or strong vibrations may cause the hands to lose
synchronisation with the internal time.
In this case the hands must be recalibrated.
Press and hold A and B together for 5 seconds.
'HP' will appear blinking on the display.
Press A to turn the minute hand by on sixth of a minute.
Press and hold A for speed setting. The minute hand will turn continuously and can be stopped
by pressing any button.
Turn the minute hand to exactly 12 o'clock and press B.
The hour digits will appear blinking on the display.
If the hour shown on the display does not correspond to the time shown by the hands, the
correct hour must be set. Press A to set the hours and press B to confirm your setting.
The watch will now attempt radio reception.
Replacement of battery (2-LD2970-3/4/5 = CR2032H, 2-LD2970-6/7/8 = CR1620)
Battery replacements must be performed by an expert to avoid damaging the case or gaskets.
Water resistance
Water resistant up to 5 bar. The bar value specifies the atmospheric overpressure which is applied
during testing (DIN 8310).

Disposal of the batteries
Please dispose of your batteries properly in containers especially set up at retailers.
Batteries do not belong in household waste. Dispose of the batteries at an approved
disposal facility or at your local recycling centre. Contact the disposal system if in doubt.
Warranty
We provide a 3-year warranty for this item. The warranty period starts from the date of sale
(receipt, proof of purchase). Within this period we rectify all faults which are attributable to
material and manufacturing defects at no cost. For damage which is attributable to improper
treatment, e.g. dropping, knocking, or water damage, there is no warranty claim.
Declaration of Conformity
If used as intended this product conforms to the basic standards of § 3 and the other relevant
provisions of the FTEG (Section 3 of the R&TTE directive). The declaration of conformity may

3 BAR WATER RESISTANT
Strap Shortening Instructions
Your watch strap may be shortened in two ways.
1. At the buckle (Illustration 1)
Unlock the safety cover (if applicable) and open the buckle. The strap is held in position by a
spring bar. The spring bar can be compressed with a pointed tool to enable shortening of the
strap. Move the strap to the desired position and allow the spring bar to lock into place.
2. At the strap (Illustration 2)
Shortening of the strap can also be achieved by removing segments. Open the buckle and
remove the spring bar as described in part 1.
Place the watch on a soft surface with the dial facing downward. The segments that can be
removed are marked with an arrow. Push a pointed tool into the opening on the backside of the
strap and push the bolt out of the strap in the direction of the arrow. Pull out the bolt (you may
need to use tweezers).
The strap can now be disassembled.
Remove as many segments as necessary in the described fashion and reassemble the strap by
pushing the bolt inwards in the opposite direction of the arrow. Reassemble the buckle with the
spring bar.

R blinker på displayet. Modtagningsprocessen varer mellem 3 og 9 minutter og kan afbrydes
ved tryk på en vilkårlig tast.
Når modtagningen af radiosignalet lykkes, vises modtagningskontrollen R hele tiden på
displayet.
Displaymodi
Ved tryk på tast A kan De vælge armbåndsurets forskellige displaymodi:

Ved tryk på tast A drejer minutviseren sig et sjettedels minut fremad. Tryk og hold tast A for
hurtigindstilling. Minutviseren drejer sig kontinuerlig videre og kan standses ved tryk på en
vilkårlig tast.
Drej minutviseren nøjagtig til klokken 12 og tryk på tast B. På displayet blinker nu timeruden.
Hvis den viste time i displayet ikke stemmer overens med viserens viste time, skal De indstille
den korrekte time. For at indstille timen trykker De tast A og bekræfter Deres indstilling ved tryk
på tast B. Uret starter nu radiomodtagningen.
Batteriskifte (2-LD2970-3/4/5 = CR2032H, 2-LD2970-6/7/8 = CR1620)
Udskiftning af batteri skal udføres af en urfagmand. Således undgår De beskadigelser af
urkassen og pakningsringen.
Vandtæthed
Vandtæt op til 5 bar. Bar angivelsen refererer til luftovertrykket, der blev anvendt som et led i
vandtætheds undersøgelsen (DIN 8310).

Skift ved tryk på tast A til datoens displaymodus. Tryk og hold tast B i 3 sekunder.
På displayet blinker ruden for timerne. Indstil timerne ved tryk på tast A og bekræft Deres

Viserne bevæger sig automatisk til det indstillede klokkeslæt.

Afkortning af rem
Du kan afkorte din urrem på to måder.
1. Ved spændet (se illustration 1)
Luk op for låseklemmen (hvis der er en) og åbn spændet. Remmen fastholdes i spændet af et
fjederben. De kan sammentrykke pennestykket med en spids genstand og på den måde
forskyde båndet til den ønskede længde. Slip fjederbenet og lad det springe på plads igen.
2. På remmen (se illustration 2)
Remmen kan også afkortes, ved at man tager enkelte led ud.
Luk op for spændet, tag fjederbenet ud som beskrevet under 1 og læg uret fladt med urskiven
nedad på et blødt underlag.
De led, der kan fjernes, er mærket med en pil. Skyd et spids værktøj i åbningen på bagsiden af
båndet og tryk splinten i pilens retning. Træk splitten ud (evt. med en pincet), og remmen kan nu
skilles i to.
Tag yderligere led ud alt efter, hvor kort remmen skal være, og sæt remmen sammen igen. Sæt
splitten i modsat pilens retning og tryk den ind. Afslut med at sætte remmen sammen med
fjederbenet igen.
