o Climate differences between the outside in the inside must be managed within a
dedicated level : cool air must be provided to occupant in summer time, whereas warm air
must be kept inside the building during winter time

Solar protection devices and description of the Somfy solution used in the building :
Some 100 Venetian blinds are motorized with Somfy motors and managed by the Animeo IB+ system.
Their position is automatically set according to daylighting and occupancy / inoccupancy periods in the
building.
The whole solution includes :
- Motors for the movement of venetian blinds
- Controls , in order to make those movements effective according to timer programming, or
climatic parameters : wind, sun, rain, temperature.
- Weather sensors : wind, rain, sun and temperature sensors

The Animeo IB+ system contributes to occupants visual and thermal comfort, At the same time,
substantial energy-savings are made everyday thanks to the optimization of solar use.
